"Very happy customer"

I cannot rate this company too highly. Firstly, they were most helpful in finding the right carbon filter for my now ancient Zanussi cooker hood.There wsa a slight glitch when the wrong one got sent to me but they very quickly and efficiently despatched the correct one. They are a very friendly and helpful company which is very refreshing in this day and age especially when companies are under a great deal of strain during the coronavirus outbreak.

"Pretty poor"

Pretty poor
I ordered some end caps for a Gtech Air Ram and they only lasted four months. When I contacted Spares2go for replacements they said they only give three months warranty. I don't know how a UK company can that legally or ethically. You might save a few pence but if it only lasts four month why bother, won't be using them again

"Ordered my spares"

Ordered my spares, then asked if they had a small screw that I also needed for the part I asked for. Des got it for me and sent it out with main order on time. Thanks, Des great service, will be dealing with you again. All the very best, Jon

"Be very wary of this company"

November 18th 2019 I ordered a part and was told that it would take 21 to 24 working days to be despatched to me - I accepted this and paid.

When it got close to the 21 to 24 days I contacted them and asked for an eta. The reply I got was that the time wasn't up yet.

I asked again for an eta and got no reply.

Once the 24 days was up I again contacted and asked for an eta - I was ignored.

As I paid by PayPal, I contacted them and asked for help. PayPal contacted Spares2Go and they were ignored. PayPal gave 10 days to resolve or escalate to refund status.

Just before the 10 days was up I received an email telling me that the item had been despatched and would be with me in 2 - 3 days.

At the end of day 4 with still nothing having been received I escalated the claim with PayPal.

PayPal asked Spares2Go for shiping details including a tracking ref and they were told Royal Mail with no tracker reference. As thsi was no proof of shipment I was issued a refund. - Big thankyou to PayPal.

I then received the following email from Spares2Go:
"Hello again
We have just been advised that you have been refunded by paypal.
As previously advise we have sent you the item you ordered and sincerely apologise for the delay . This was due to the suppliers being sluggish in supply and of course Christmas and New Year didn't help as the item had to be ordered in from China to France then France to us via our supplier.
When you receive your parcel ,as you've been refunded, please return to us by refusing the parcel.
If you still require the part, advise us of it's arrival and we will issue you with a money request via paypal. If we don't receive it back within 7 days we'll assume your acceptance of this offer.
Sincerely".

So, are they saying that in 7 days time I owe them money if I don't return something that I haven't received?

Their bad communication leaves me to believe that they have no concern for customer satisfaction.

Delivery / supply chain hiccups happen and good communication allows customers to make informed decisions about suppliers. Ignoring emails and keeping customers in the dark can only breed distrust.

I will not use this company again.

Bought a part which was delivered within few days , I requested a installation diagram which came within minutes , after explaining the newer part is slightly different with more features Des sent me very straight forward diagram and part installed in seconds . Top service

"Briiliant service helping to source a part that isn't available."

I wanted a replacement switch for a Dualit kettle. Des in Spares2go offered to try and source one if I could send him a photo.

It turned out that the kettle doesn't have a switch part as such, but a spiders-web-like plastic assembly. Des's reply was to say that he had contacted Dualit on my dehalf and they asked him to tell me to send in the kettle. Which I am about to do.

"Filter holder for my Dualit kettle"

Filter holder for my Dualit kettle had broken, kettle otherwise perfect and new kettle expensive. Spares2go was the only place I could find to get a replacement. Very reasonably priced at £6.56 with free P&P.
Easy online ordering and company kept me informed of order progress. Delivered within a few days as promised, and with free filter thrown in.
Kettle now good as new at a fraction of the price of replacement. Can’t fault Spares2go. Excellent.
