Absolutely brilliant place to have your eye surgery done. Being a high prescription they made me feel at ease throughout from the consultation to post op surgery. Prof Reinstein was fantastic taking me through step by step. Not forgetting the receipt ion staff, the clinicians and optometrist. Lovely snacks to keep you going whilst you wait too.

I should firstly say that I am based in Inverness and thoroughly researched the various companies offering laser eye surgery in the UK.

In the end I chose LVC because:
- they have good experience of SMILE.
- they have good experience of laser blended vision - sadly I am over 40!
- they have helped in the development of some of the equipment used.
- they have an informative and educational website
- they can provide all the statistics in terms of success and additional procedures required that you could possibly want.
- they were interested in helping me reach a decision
- They have an initial fee for the in-depth assessment.
- fixed prices depending on treatment required - no double glazing "offers" here.
- while they want your business they are not sales driven

Due to my findings i commited to the additional travel and costs involved in assessment, surgery, week 1, month 1, month 3 and month 12 assessments.

I have not been disappointed. They are a well oiled machine with good processes and a team with the various qualifications and skills required to be efficient.

You will see various people throughout your treatment but the surgeon has an overview and provides his recommendation in terms of treatment, the surgery itself, day 1 review and ongoing texts over your 12 month care period.

I had (non smile) laser blended vision. While I may need an enhancement in a few years (cant say when...everyone is different) I am delighted by my care to date and would do it again.

Very little to suggest in terms of improvement of their service or processes.

"Going to LVC was the best choice I ever…"

Going to LVC was the best choice I ever made. It's is now over a year post-op and my vision is great, I don't suffer from headaches or see starbursts or halos (the most common complaints post laser eye surgery). If there's anywhere you should go, it's LVC due to their immense experience and knowledge in the field.

I recommend them whole heartedly!

"Fantastic Service"

I had my surgery in 2014. After wearing glasses for almost 10 years and being quite scared at the prospect of laser surgery i finally went ahead. The London Vision Clinic did a fantastic job and offer an even better after care. 6 years on and my eyesight is still 20/20 and my night vision is incredible (no halos). I would highly recommend this service. It is pricey nut well worth the money and these are your eyes after all they require the best service.
