If I could give zero stars I would!
I called Chunky removals and left a voice mail explaining I wanted to make an enquiry regarding moving my belongings from my storage in to my new property.
I agreed a price with Kamil for cash which quickly changed after he decided the job would take longer than expected.
He was very aggressive, rude and said the men that were working for him were complaining and he would not make any money and even used fowl language to me on the phone. I agreed to pay an additional £150.
When his employees arrived in the van they were unhappy as my new property had a staircase.
I felt very uncomfortable as they called Kamil and I could hear him shouting down the phone.
Because I felt so uncomfortable every box the removals men took in my property I also took one, I lifted sideboards, heavy boxes and halved their time moving my belongings in to my new property.
My new property had been decorated and new carpets laid. When the removals men had finished it looked like someone had deliberately damaged the property.
My walls had such deep straches they needed filling, my bannister had chunks taken out of the wood and my new fridge freezer had 14 dents and deeps scratches all over. When I called Kamil to notify him of all the damage his swore at me and put the phone down to speak to the removals men.
I could hear him screaming at them and they even put the phone away from their ear as he was shouting so loudly at them.
I took back £100 from the £650 I had to pay ( even though the original price was only £500) the only reason I only took £100 back is because the removals men looked so shocked by Kamils telephone conversation and his abuse to them, I felt sorry for them.
I asked Kamil for his insurance details to cover some of the damage but he refused to give them to me and got very abusive and aggressive.
He tried to tell me the damage was there before, but I have photos from Kamil when the removals men arrived at my storage unit where my belongings had no damage.
I also have photos of my walls and bannister having no damage before they were caused by the removals men.
I would strongly recommend you do not use Chunky removals, they are clearly not insured, very dodgy and you are threatened by an awful bully whom is the company owner

The most amazing efficient service!! I booked last minute after being let down by a more supposed “well known clearance company” who were just god awful and honestly thank god for that! Chunky Junk confirmed everything within minutes and then turned up within the hour - super helpful and did everything they could to assist a smooth sofa removal! I will be using these guys again for everything! You couldn’t ask for more !!
