"Peru: A bucket list trip, an incredible adventure"

Adventure Life worked with me and my teenage daughter to create a customized itinerary that we both adored. We started in the Andes: a home-stay on the reed islands of Lake Titicaca; festival in Puno; ruins and shopping around Cuzco. Our guide Boris was incredibly prepared, both with local information and around our needs adjusting to the altitude. We were so comfortable with him, I could nap and send my daughter out to explore. That is high praise indeed. We then spent 4 days in the rainforest with Oscar. It still boggles my mind that we were within 50 kilometers of uncontacted tribes. Learned much from both guides and saw many things we wouldn’t have otherwise. Adventure Life was highly recommended to me by a friend who travels widely and often. It was truly a joy to leave the logistics to the guides and attend to the experience instead.

Ship was the right size to visit small towns without swamping them, yet cabins were spacious enough and food/onboard entertainment were enjoyable. Crew was effective in providing service. Altogether a very satisfying experience. Of course, small ships are more lively in any kind of sea, but captain steered best course on those occasions.

Our family trip to Peru was incredible. What made it better than we had hoped was the help we received from Adventure Life. Even as we shopped around for the best company to work with, they said whoever you chose just make sure that you are happy and that they fulfil your needs. Their unbiased offers of help was the selling point for me.

Our guides were like family, they were so easy to get along with and absolutely cared for all our needs. Our safety and comfort was number one priority. The time our guide took to chat with our 9 year (at the time) was heart felt. They became really good buddies. I honestly can't say enough about our trip and the people who helped us. We cannot wait to return someday.

This was the first time we've travelled using a travel company and guides. We will not hesitate to do so on any future excursions. Adventure life is the best! Simple :)

A group of four of us used Adventure Life to spend two weeks in Patagonia and Argentina in 2014. Our consultant did a great job suggesting a customized itinerary that gave us exactly what we wanted. Every detail was nailed down well in advance and the trip exceeded our expectations. We were able to enjoy ourselves without worry because all the arrangements flowed smoothly--even a last-minute flight change by an airline was communicated to us during the trip and handled effortlessly.

Adventure Life put together an adventure-packed trip that kept us busy for two full weeks. All accomodations were far better than expected with some exceptional rural lodges in incredibly scenic places. All our food proved very tasty and safe with lots of choices. We had no food illnesses. It was nice to see that rice with every meal is in the past. The Chinese people were very friendly and willing to please. It is a government mandate to insure that foreign travelers are treated with the best services and not exposed to crime. Our English speaking guides were without exception, very well trained and always willing to provide the very best service. Transportation was very modern and easy to obtain. Most airports and train stations have English signs. It is a tribute to Adventure Life and the Chinese people that every aspect of our trip went flawlessly. Their staff are very willing to please and provide any level of service required. Their choice of local providers was excellent.

The destinations offered by Adventure Life proved to be exceptional. The Great Wall at Jinshanling was far superior to the section in Beijing that most choose. The Terracotta Warriers at Xian is really worth seeing, though crowded. The Longsheng Rice Terraces near Guilin is as good as it gets for scenery, and staying in the remote Ping'an Village is a fantastic experience, though the hike uphill to the lodge is not a cakewalk. To miss the incredible mountain scenery of the Li River near Yangshuo, is to miss scenery that is unique to China and unforgettable. Bamboo rafting, bike riding, and kayaking in this area were all great choices for the adventurous traveler.

Adventure Life arranged a four day luxury cruise from Yichang to Chongquing on the Yangze River aboard the Yangzi Explorer. The scenery is really great and there are lots of cultural side trips you can take. It is a very relaxing, though expensive, way to end a trip. You will be treated to unparalled luxury. All rooms on this ship are first class, regardless of the cost.

Ours was the first trip to China offered by Adventure Life and they hit the bullseye perfectly. This is a trip we will long cherish.

"Smooth Traveling by boat, by land and by air"

My wife and I used Adventure Life to visit the Galápagos Islands and we had a perfect adventure with knowledgeable guides, good food and a comfortable catamaran. When my son turned 21 I took him on an adventure sport trip to Costa Rica. Adventure Life had us white water rafting, rappelling down waterfalls, bicycling through lush greenery, hiking and sea kayaking. We moved around in Costa Rica and a van with Gide was always there to meet us, our accommodations were quite comfortable and the food was excellent. My wife and I also went to Costa Rica on a more relaxing trip where we flew into a nature preserve on the Pacific coast on a 4 seat plane and stayed high in the northern rain forest. In Belize we spent some days in the jungle by Mayan ruins and a few days on an island off the coast. We loved the history, the wildlife and the reef off the island.

For all of our trips the office staff of Adventure Life were always there for us in trip planning. Everyone we spoke with was glad to hear from us and we're always helpful. There were no hidden charges or fees. The trip costs were clearly laid out and the pre-trip packets were informative. I have celiac disease, which means I cannot eat wheat products. I mentioned this when planning the trip and was quite pleased when the server on our 16 person catamaran brought me a different soup than the others because the main serving contained gluten. That was attention to detail. I plan on using Adventure Life in the future.

Adventure Life is an incredible company with no excuses. We have grown to know them and trust them. They know their countries, their guides, and listen to you. We are 3 for 3 perfect trips.
At one time we were over 16,000 feet in a snow/hail storm on the Cachicatta Trail near Machu Picchu and the llamas took off back home. Our guides set up the lunch tent, the porter and donkey driver solved the problem as the chef fixed lunch while we had coco tea with our guide in a lunch tent. The ship is beautiful, the food is fantastic, the crew is exceptional, and the itinerary exciting. The most amazing aspect was the Captain's involvement with the guests in determining the daily agendas. If we had an extraordinary wildlife sighting, he was content to let us spend as much time as we wanted savoring the experience. If there was an interesting natural development, like an ice formation, he would change course to explore it. If you want to live in luxury while on an adventure cruise, this is it!
