"OVER PRICED"

Today I sent my son and his 9 mates off to paintball with the understanding that I had paid $45 each up front then another $265 for the booking. Can you please explain as to why no one informed me that it would then cost an extra $100 EACH for more paintballs to get them through the 4 games. So in total it has cost $1700 for 10 people to play for 3 hours. I think this cost needs to be known up front because no one selling these packages lets you know that this is the expected cost AND IF I HAD BEEN AWARE THERE IS NO WAY I WOULD HAVE SENT THESE UNI STUDENTS OFF FOR TO PAINTBALL!!!!!

"My daughter was pressured into buying…"

My daughter was pressured into buying tickets at convention in Brisbane. at 16 she does not want to do paintball but was told by the seller that she could sell them online for a profit if she did not want to use them herself. I initiated the refund process but was unable to print the refund form (as required for a refund) as the print button on the website did not work. Tech savvy neighbour helped me out and we have sent off the tickets for refund. via registered post with a video of my daughter handing the tickets in at the post office. I have video of the sale as I was filming another character and my daughter is in shot. I now wait to see what "processing fee" will be charged to return her money and how long it will take. I have contacts at "A current affair" who are very interested in this story.

"Young lady sweet talked my 15 and 18 …"

Young lady sweet talked my 15 and 18 year old, missing out half the info, telling them false information and then using my credit card my kids paid $192 FOR A SPECIAL SPECIAL OFFER they thought was costing them $90...being young lads they did not check waht they were paying......as I have read other people were also offered this special.... so its not that special, they were told they could get a refund if they changed their minds upto 3 months....luckily i read the terms stating 10days so applied within the 10 days...it does not state the tickets had to arrive back within the 10days, but they will not refund me because they were not posted with the 10 days....excuse me but it was over xmas and new year, but have not allowed for all the closures!!!! They also said they emailed me when i have never received an email.....I asked for a call back from the refunds team as apoarently i could not be transferred through...a week later i am still waiting......will be persuing this out of principle!!!!!

"PG has the same rip off tactics in Australia."

Anyone in Australia considering using IPG consider this. What you pay to IPG actually gets you nothing. They tell you it covers your entry to any of their courses (by the way that don't own or operate any centres) for a full day and that there are games on everyday, both of which are untrue. They also tell you that it covers your gear hire, again untrue. I was sold a package of 10 tickets for the price of 4 tickets, a total cost of $180.00. When I then made a booking for a course for 6 people, firstly I was told that i had to choose a morning or afternoon session, therefore not all day as advised by their salesperson. I was then told that I had to pay $45.00 in advance, non-refundable, for every player, plus an additional booking fee. This additional $45 was for the first 200 paintballs according to IPG and to confirm the booking. The day arrived and we went to the course. The first thing that happened was an argument over our booking being a full day, as agreed with IPG, with the course manager saying that we were only to be there for a half day. Then to my great surprise I find out that by going directly to the course operator and paying them $50, instead of paying IPG, anything at all, it included the use of the course and the supply of all the equipment including the marker, additional paintballs are extra, and that's fine and understandable Therefore it was at this point that I truly found out what IPG does. They are an agent who misleads you into believing you're getting a great deal, when in fact they are just a booking service. IPG does not own any paintball courses, nor do they operate any paintball courses, they dishonestly lead you to believe they do. What you are paying to them actually gets you nothing, just a booking service. You can go direct to any paintball centre and avoid paying IPG their booking fee.
