Paul installed the previous boiler. Nothing lasts forever. New boiler fitted by his son Luke. I demolished the airing cupboard and emptied the bedroom for ease of access. Old hot cylinder tank and associated pipework removed and loft tank emptied and isolated by Paul. (I've removed the tank and supporting frame.). Pipework rerouted. All tested. Instructed on use. All waste removed. All 'complete' in a day and a half. So far all fine. Suspect I'll be getting them back (to fit me new radiators).

Paul got our boiler going within half an hour by a work-around. A new part was identified and ordered which is to be fitted soon.
