"Rising star in the genealogy and history of York"

As publicity and events coordinator for York Family History Society it was my good fortune to meet Tee Bylo on an open day at York cemetery. She took time to guide me effortlessly to the unmarked grave of my lost grandfather. Her knowledge of the place is without equal.
As a historian and genealogist she is also an indispensable member of our Society and supports visitors with enthusiasm and expertise to help trace their ancestors and overcome their brick walls.
She has provided advice and help to me personally in my local history research finding crucial information that I couldn’t. She is a truly skilled professional - one of those key figures in York that people defer to if engaged in family history or local history research notably of the Victorian period.
