My husband and I have just received our first meat order and were delighted that the quality was even better than had been advertised. Our first meal using the meat were the Scotch Fillets that were flavoursome and incredibly tender. We had some of the sausages a couple of days later and again found that they were flavoursome. The cost averages out cheaper than from our local butcher, and when we had a general query, the company got back to us in less than 24 hours. Eating healthy, Cost Effective, Excellent Quality and Easy to Order.. McKenzies ticks every box.

I was excited when the box arrived and happy to be able to see exactly what I'd paid for. Very happy!
The first thing I cook off was the rump steak. It was so good!
Portioning the carnivore box, it came to 24 serves or $8.50 per 1 serve. In my mind, that's pretty good value!
Know this meat has no hormone or vaccine give to the beef, they are grass fed & finished and locally produced, reinforces me buying this product again.

"Dreadful quality"

Trusted the staff’s recommendations for a large joint of beef for a centrepiece on New Year’s Eve, and made the mistake of not going with my gut feeling.
Bought a large ribeye joint which looked fine, but after cooking and trying to carve the joint, it was full of sinew and in the end we had to throw 60-70% away as it was impossible to separate any meat, only the very centre eye was edible.

I foolishly tried to save some money and in the end wasted a huge sum in the end. So this is the first and last time we shall ever buy anything from McKenzie’s, be very careful! An expensive lesson learned.
