Prompt and efficient, very helpful and always good advice. Lovely people and a good range of frames, some rather expensive. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

I have been a patient/customer of A View in Crouch End for more than 20 years, so satisfied that I made the decision to stay with them when I moved further away. The staff are very well qualified and experienced and their service has always been very professional. Their advice on lenses and spectacle frames has been invaluable. You get a first class eye assessment at A View, far in excess of the NHS requirements and this includes photographing the back of the eye for which payment is required. The cost is set out at the time of booking. I have reason to be particularly grateful for this assessment as it showed an additional eye problem which would otherwise have gone undiagnosed. I have no hesitation in recommending A View.

This company in Crouch End are the most prejudice and racist set of Indians I have ever had the misfortune to meet. They rip people off by buying new eye equipment and then no longer allow the Great British NHS patients to have their standard eye tests unless you pay £65 on top of the NHS voucher - which they grab - to use something you never asked for to get you to pay for their new equipment especially if you receive carers allowance or income support or in fact any other benefit where they can exploit NHS patients. They look down on you as if you are riff raff but really it’s because she assumes you don’t have money for ‘extras’ for her to rob. God help you if you question the owners questionable practices especially if you are black as they are firm believers in their ‘Caste System’ and label you as rude and abusive- my grandparents are Indian but they think we all look the same although if you are Italian they respect and laugh it off as ‘passionate’. Ironically the white South African optician who works for them has some level of decency and respected this long standing client and offered the new equipment as a free trial. No letters were sent out informing anyone of their sneaky practice before any bookings yet they are quick to find your email to inform you not to return if you don’t pay for their equipment. The extremely rotund fear inducing and greedy owner had absolutely no respect for her optician and usurped her decision on return from her semi-retirement off shore. Ahem!
She then tried to justify her greed implying she robs ‘everyone the same’ and withdrew her opticians decision. Poor staff - they must tread in fear of her enormous stature for want of a better description of her practices. Isn’t it ‘ironic’ that her business is the most robbed and vandalised in the neighbourhood. Quite unheard of for an opticians practice. After all, they are not a bank. This business is always appearing in the local paper to the point they have to lock their door during trading hours. And that in a sleepy suburb of north London. Speaks volumes. Narcissists never learn anything and think they can get away with covertly upsetting people then feign they have no clue why they are targeted. This despicable lowest form of human is the worst and she will rob anyone upon entry. She claims to have standards which I guess means she compares to be up there with Robin Hood. That is quite deluded. Absolutely foul creature. I recommend you give this business a very wide berth. The NHS need to be informed and withdraw their contract. The NHS was NOT set up to line the pockets of this imoral glutton. Shameless to the core.

Rapid turnaround for glasses to be ready for collection. With an exceptional after sales service. I cannot rate them highly enough!
