"Refund made"

After the two-month refund request period, I received the requested refund from Expanish. I had to ask the company to withdraw the money from the financial company (Flywire) they work for and deposit it directly into my account. It was very simple and easy, as it should have been from the beginning, without stress. The refund was made. This issue was resolved.
Expanish found a way to resolve it.
On the other hand, the financial company Flywire is terrible and creates several obstacles to prevent them from returning the money quickly.
Remember that in Brazil they do this a lot and have a bad reputation.

I loved my time at Expanish Madrid. Such a wonderful experience!

I found Expanish after Googling Spanish courses in Spain. However, after seeing Expanish's website, Google reviews and Instagram - my search ended. I was attracted right away.

After having some questions answered via Instagram (shoutout to Teodora, the Content Manager, who I credit as being the reason I felt certain enough to go ahead with my reservation), I decided on the Madrid school, booked my course, my flights and my accommodation,.

I had an amazing time during my two weeks at Expanish. The school is in a very well-connected location in beautiful Salamanca. The school is very warm and welcoming aesthetically, but also the same for its staff. I enjoyed the lessons but on top of that I also enjoyed meeting people from other countries. The social element was a big plus for me.

In terms of constructive feedback, there were two things that could've made it better 1) for Expanish to find a way to plan schedules so they can confirm class times in advance. I wanted to make plans with friends, and I wanted to book a weekend trip to another city but I couldn't because they couldn't confirm whether I would have morning or evening classes until my first day. By the time my class times were confirmed, the train ticket price had risen. 2) to have a teacher who can speak English/other languages for the beginners class. At beginners level we will definitely have questions. All of the teachers were lovely people but the first week my teacher did not speak/understand English, so it was a bit of a struggle. The second week my teacher spoke English and French and it made a HUGE difference!

Overall, a fab time. Highly recommend.

Ich hatte eine Woche Sprachunterricht in der Expanish Language School in Malaga und bin begeistert. Der Unterricht war abwechslungsreich, nie langweilig und durch die kleinen Klassen war der Unterricht sehr effektiv.
Die Lehrer waren toll, sehr geduldig und das ganze Team sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Schön fand ich auch das Freizeitangebot nach dem Unterricht. Jeden Tag wurden Unternehmungen angeboten, um Land und Leute kennenzulernen und Sprache weiter zu üben.
Ich komme gerne wieder!

I AM SO IMPRESSED by this organization. I am an experienced educator and actually teach in my second language. I deeply enjoyed the staff, environment, and the classroom environment. Systems worked well, were well-thought out, and created an amazing atmosphere. The classes created a beautiful dynamic, were interesting, and challenging! I had very little expectations for my classes as I imagined it as a fairly transient school for foreigners looking to learn Spanish. Instead, what I found was a school of long-term students, ones whose progress was phenomenal, and who were fostered by their school of teachers. People got close! And even though I was a short-term student, I felt so close to my classmates, positively challenged by the course work, and appreciative of my experiences both during my week at the Barcelona campus and the Madrid location. Muchísimas gracias a todes!

My third time at Expanish in BsAs. I hope to make it a fourth time at Christmas. There are no negatives: great teachers, excursions, events, perfect location. And of course, there’s Buenos Aires: one of the world’s great cities without a doubt.

The language course at Expanish was a really great experience that I can only recommend to everyone. The team is super nice and they help you wherever they can and everything was perfectly organized. The teachers are motivating , supporting and lovely and the atmosphere is very familiar, so you quickly come into contact with other students.
Also, my experience with the host family was great and it’s another good opportunity to improve your Spanish outside of class.
So if you want to learn Spanish and have a good time, I highly recommend this school.
