"Online order - Personal Service"

Ordering a bike online was a bit stressful. You want to know proper sizing, when and in what state it will arrive as well as accessories. The experience could not have been better. Ordered on a Friday and got the automated email response confirming the order. Was surprised to shortly get a personalised email outlining build timing and delivery expectations from a person at the shop (not automated). I had a few questions so asked for a call back...within 20 minutes I was on the phone with Rebecca who not only answered my questions but ask some herself about my needs and desires. She was not just trying to get me a bike I ordered but to ensure I had ordered the right bike and to understand my broader cycling needs.
The next Monday got an email that my bike had been built and tested and was being packaged for shipping. With the pandemic bike shops are overloaded right now - I was amazed not only with the speed but the personal email. Minutes later I got a DHL automated email projecting delivery on Wednesday. Bike arrived well packaged and with a spanner and Allen wrench had it together in 20 minutes. Ready to ride! The staff at H2 Gear is great. My daughter now says she wants a new bike... I will be going back to Rebecca and her team.

"No attention to detail, and bike not checked over before being sold."

Bought a bike for my partners birthday, it was a surprise and so before purchasing on the website I called to make sure it was in stock and would be ready for collection by Friday. i was told if ordered today (wed) it would be ready for collection by then. Friday came and went no call and to cap it off they don't open on Saturdays though no mention of this anywhere. I called on Monday and was told the bike would be ready in a few hours for collection, shortly after I was contacted by a manager and told the bike was ready on Friday though they couldn't get through?! though no messages or missed calls on my phone. I then had to take the day off work on Monday to collect it.
My partner was loved the bike, though after a short ride the chain came off the front chain ring on shifting down and actually damaged some of the paint in that area! After checking it the front derailleur stops where not adjusted correctly, I thought this was suppose to be part of the checks prior to handing over the bike, on further inspection the rear derailleur was not set up correctly either and the stops where set wrong and bike would not even go into sprocket 11. I am not sure who looked at this bike before it was handed over but it certainly wasn't a professional!! I think u'd be taking a risk getting any servicing done at this outlet. I received no owners manual and even a dustup was missing, when you spend thousands of pounds on a bike you expect a little more than this!

"Happy Customer!"

Great service and amazing delivery time. Placed my order at 4.45pm on Friday and bike arrived at 3pm on the Tuesday and we are in Scotland! Great email from H2 setting expectations on the Monday to expect a longer delivery time due to skeleton staff so was surprised to have a text the following morning with my delivery slot. Bike was well packaged, can’t fault anything. Thank you!

"Terrible customer service"

I have just had a shocking experience with this company. I made a mistake on my postcode. The Company (DHL) that they used to deliver changed the first line of the address instead of questioning the postcode. My parcel was then delivered to the wrong address. When I realised this, H2 Gear refused to help me, were unwilling to take any responsibility for changing my address and offered no postive help in helping me to resolve this issue. I will not be using H2 Gear again.

"They cancelled my order as turns out it wasn’t in stock.... so why list it?"

Made my order. Paid. Got my confirmation email. All good... then the next day got the cancellation email as apparently it wasn’t in stock after all. So had to go and find somewhere else to stock it but lost over a day in getting my needed item
