Coventry sterling motors purchased my car through motor way in auction. For a start it took them ages to contact me at least 3 weeks! By then I gave them a call to see what was going on ( next steps) they sent some pig ignorant appraisal man out as soon as I meet him I knew he wasn’t going to be that great and bearing in mind last minute they brought the day forward and the time so caused me great inconvenience from the outset! Anyway this guy max he called himself! Looked over the car ran 2 diagnostic tests did a test drive ripped the car apart basically pointing out everything he could to de value the car claiming he wasn’t anything to do with sterling motors I didn’t believe him!!! I said you must but a lot of cars with some issues and defects especially ones that are like 10 years old. His response have you seen our reviews. I thought it wasn’t your company he lied! At one stage he said is made a mistake buying my car in the first place. This company has wasted my time trying to scam me out of money by making out my car is worth nothing so they can make heavy profits. They in my opinion should be stopped from advertising that they do part ex because they install false hope waste time and try to rip you off. They are disgusting DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY AND DONT DO A PART EX. I know I’m not the only one. They are crafty when it comes paying out for your car they expect it to be perfect but the reality is it won’t be if it’s 10 years old wear and tear. Poor service. Needless to say he went off and said some one will be in touch if they want the car. So more time wasted not going to even pick up the phone to them diabolical I’ll use someone else! Thanks but no thanks

My experience with sterling motors was nothing but Brilliant from the start to the end, staff are friendly even had a laugh with them which never felt uncomfortable,great prices on vehicles, the vehicle they have in shock are very well looked after.... very happy with my vehicle and would definitely recommend people to go and purchase with them....

"Car experience"

Very friendly staff, were dealt with professionalism and hospitality. Provided with good advice regarding aftercare also. Gave us good money for our car also and even made and put on our private plate of no charge.
Very good experience would recommend to anyone looking to change car visit them first.

"Company agreed the sale of my c…"

Company agreed the sale of my car and only to find fimperfections in order to get out of the sale. Made me wait over a week to collect the vehicle only to then say they no longer wanted the car and wasted my time causing me to lose another vehicle. Want to pay peanuts but expect a vehicle to be perfect or pull out last minute. DO NOT LOOK TO PART EX car runs fine but found a fault somehow

"AVOID THIS GARAGE (NAYIM)"

If it was me buying a car from here, I would avoid this garage at all costs.

My daughter was part exchanging her Kia Seed which admittedly was not in best shape, however having had an initial valuation of £800, to "hook you in" they then employ the usual dirtbag salesman tactics of being picky with scratches that were not previously reported as well as the usual, "I think the gearbox is a bit clunky" line.., the Part Ex "confirmed figure" is then reduced to £600, then £550, then £400 (when you are on the forecourt).

Having travelled a 150 round mile trip and agreed the finance qin the week before we were knocked down to a final price on our part exchange to £425.

My personal review is, Nayim, who is apparently a part owner of Coventry Sterling Motors Ltd has no class or customer sales integrity, he may have an extra £85 in his pocket tonight, and I am £85 lighter.., but at what cost?

Avoid this garage at all costs

The Car that was purchased is very nice, but was not described accurately either, which is a material infringement of trading standards

"Decent used car dealer"

Bought a second hand Audi A3 in January 2022. Very professional and helpful. I felt confident in the integrity and honesty of the staff and would be happy to recommend them. My delay in reviewing is simply to have allowed time for any eventuality to rear its head over the following months, but I have confidence in saying that they were happy to answer any queries I had post purchase and have been nothing but courteous. I have taken the time to add this as there are so many used car dealers who operate in direct opposition to this, so this type of service should be highlighted. If I were to make one suggestion, it would be to review their warranty company as I found them to be lacking in every sense, especially considering the level of cover I had - Autoprotect/Customer Protect. This warranty company is poor.

"Warranty...what warranty!"

We purchased a car from coventry stirling motors we was told the car came with a 3 month warranty which would be sent by email after a short time the car required urgent attention by my local garage they contacted the warranty company to be told no such car was registered with them!we have contacted coventry stirling motors five times each time being given a compleate different vehicles details including customers personal details on there vehicles!including there emails etc we cannot understand why this has proved such a issue, i have now paid out twice for repairs that needed urgent attention when a warranty was there!or in fact not there!!we have our own business so know how important it is to have feedback from customers regarding customer care we feel totally let down concerning this matter.

"GOLD RATING EXPERIENCE"

I will never forget my experience with this company. I recently bought a Volvo XC60 from the company. The support and care I received was as if I was a previously known person to them. Nayim and his brother were so helpful and friendly to me. Nayim paid for my Uber cost from the train station and even paid for a missing parcel shelf in the car.
I would definitely be coming back to buy another car From you.
This experience is GOLD to me.
