Rachael from HB kept in touch with me during all stages towards the building of the greenhouse which was finished with the completion of the electrics. I would recommend the lights they offer which are perfect for the enhanced growing conditions we need here in the UK.

I ordered a Hartely Botanic greenhouse in 2020 and it was installed in the October of that year. The service and support was very good and when one of the parts was found to be missing a senior manager travelled a significant distance to deliver and fit it. It’s a very high quality product and adds value in many ways.

"MY GO TO PLACE"

Well where do I start? My husband had a garage and I had a Hartley Botanic Grange. My experience with the company was perfect with no glitches or hold-ups. My builders did a wonderful job of the base with custom-designed brickwork and slabs for the Grange to sit on. It was so good, it wasn’t 1mm out. Benjamin, in the design department was amazing and they were very happy to liaise with my builders direct as there are few things that needed to be changed because of the brickwork we were using. Delivery of the Grange was perfect the drivers were courteous personable and had time for me. The Grange was put up on the 21st of June 2023, the guys were brilliant, they arrived at 8:30 am and were finished and gone by 6:30 pm. There was not one single piece of rubbish, packaging, plastic, nuts or bolts et cetera left at the property. The purple van did a brilliant job. Everyone who I spoke to at Hartley Botanic were courteous, personable and so helpful. Thank you so much for My Go To Place.

"Victorian-style Glasshouse"

The Victorian-style Hartley Botanic Glasshouse is a great addition to our new ‘Outside’ rooms and spaces, all within the grounds of hotel, right on the shores of Ullswater. Guests can eat wood fired pizza and drink coffee and cocktails whilst taking in the panoramic views of the lake.

Being able to design a Bespoke structure allowed us to stay true to our unique location and the surrounding fells, whilst introducing a multi-functional building and increasing the choice of restaurants to our guests. When the Glasshouse is not serving pizza we are able to host creative workshops and yoga classes.

We look forward to many years of our guests taking in the views from the Glasshouse. Thank you Hartley Botanic for a beautiful Glasshouse and also the fantastic customer service and experience.

"Beautiful greenhouse, poor after service."

I have owned a beautiful Hartley Botanic Glasshouse for 15 years.
Over the years it has needed some TLC and replacement bits which Hartley have shown little interest or help in supplying. When you purchase something as lovely as a Hartley, I feel the least they can do in this time of repair and refurbishment is to have a department which can help with maintaining it to a high standard.

"Exceptional quality and service"

I purchased my Victorian glasshouse from Hartley Botanic, after a years of planning and searching around. It’s wasn’t cheap, but it’s something that you buy once in a lifetime and it’s quality beyond anything I have ever seen or experienced before. Having had two previous greenhouses, I wanted this to stand upright after the winter storms. It’s already proven itself.
Now, from the sales point - I had great conversations, clear prices and even managed to change my initial order due to some unforeseen issues (measurement) on my part.
I was given a delivery date but didn’t expect it to arrive on time because of shipping to Scandinavia and covid. But it arrived on schedule and I even went to see the shipment in the port to make sure everything was in order.
Every piece was wrapped in and cocooned in protective sheaths. The shipping agent had never seen anything like it.
I decided to install the greenhouse myself together with my dad, and received support from Hartley Botanic for all my many questions. Every piece was correct to the last millimetre. I have also had the need for after sales support and it’s so professional.
I cannot recommend Hartley Botanic enough. They have been exceptional in the way they have followed up my initial query, to receiving nice brochures, answering my questions, providing plans, arranging delivery and support and service afterwards.
