Easily one of my favourite shops in the UK. Been in store a few times and always a good laugh.
The times I’ve ordered online the website explained what I was in for wait wise and the emails sent out were good. My only fault is I only had 1 pack of Haribo in my last online order.

"Overpriced Delivery, Rude and Unhelpful Staff"
Paid almost £8 delivery only to learn that the product would arrive in a month's time, despite the business being located just south of me (I live in England).
When I emailed Dave's Custom Airsoft to ask them for an estimated delivery date, they merely dismissed the question and said 'you have ordered a product with an 18-30 days advertised shipping time.,' which was both unhelpful and untrue - the delivery period was only disclosed to me after I had paid for the item.
If my order is even a single day late, I will cancel it and get my money back. Extremely unprofessional business and I would recommend finding a different airsoft retailer.
EDIT: I don't exactly expect staff to roll over and submit whenever anyone gives them feedback, but you can see from the snarky response below that winning online arguments is clearly more important to the retailer than satisfying customers.

"Follow up on previous Con Man review..."
I just saw a previous review and the exact same thing happened to me with a recent purchase where I didn't receive a full refund and was slightly less than the full refund.
Consumer Rights Act 2015, Section 45 subsection 5 states: The trader must not impose any fee on the consumer in respect of the refund.
Your terms and conditions are in clear breach of this!
Even PayPal stipulates that the seller in responsible within their own T&C's:

General information
If you receive a payment for selling goods or services that is later refunded or invalidated for any reason, you are responsible for the full amount of the payment sent to you plus any fees (including any applicable chargeback fee or Dispute fee). Whenever a transaction is refunded or otherwise reversed, PayPal will refund or reverse the transaction from your PayPal account.
For the sake of a few quid, do the right thing. If you don't want to pay the fees, don't offer PayPal as a service to your customers...

"Con Man"
I phoned up to enquire about an item and was told it was not actually in the EU warehouse as the website showed but was in UK stock, So I made the purchase expecting the item to be shipped. I then get email saying it will take longer to deliver due to no store stock, I phone back and asking why, and the for refund, but upon receiving the refund I was only partially refunded. The seller is responsible for selling fees, not the buyer. Stay away from this website, they mislead you, lie and don't stock most of their stock and expect you to order and then wait weeks.
Update: The fact you think you have the right to only provide store credit and not a full refund is illegal, wrong and absolutely disgusting behaviour. This is 100% enough reason alone to never go near you're website. In 33 years I've never seen such vile seller behaviour.

Having spent a not inconsiderable sum of money on a GBLS GDR15, I could not be happier with the service. Items shipped faster than I expected and follow up calls to the guys there for advice are always answered without it feeling like any trouble.

Placed an order with Dave's Custom Airsoft. I've since added to the order and rather than numerous carrier charges all bundled into one saving me money. More importantly I've had several questions which have all been swiftly answered with a detailed reply helping me no end.
The price is great
The customer service top notch (Thanks Jamie) with helpful advice and suggestions rather than the usual armchair 'experts' on any number of forums or FB, No doubt I'll be a repeat customer in the future.

"Overall thoughts"
Popped in to the shop to enquire about some work on my Rifle. Spoke with their head technician who was very informative and helped me pick my upgrade Package. Lead time compared to other places is really good and communication was spot on the whole way through the process.
After upgrades the rifle is insane, the response, range and fire rate are all wayyyy higher. They've completely transformed the whole rifle in to something flawless.
It doesn't even need to be an expensive rifle. As they told me, even a £250 rifle with £250 worth of upgrades will out perform most if not all £500 rifles out of the box.
100% recommend these guys for purchasing your first rifle or upgrading your current.

Ordered a gearbox, which supposedly was a 14-16 day delivery, supposedly got "stuck in customs", rang to chase and spoke to someone who clearly couldn't care less, and to top it off eventually after almost 4 weeks got an update email to say it had been dispatched to me but suspiciously the tracking number wasn't recognised, turns out that was because it didn't actually get dispatched to me until 3 days later... will NOT be ordering from this company again

"Worst returns experience ever."
I ordered a WADSN weapon light, which had "IR function". After receiving the item and testing it under NVG it was clear this did not have an IR function.
I called the shop and spoke to the manager Sam and arranged to return this. I unfortunately missed the courier collection, so called and was told that if I returned the item I would be reimbursed for the postage. So I posted the following days later 16/02/23 and provided proof of postage.
This was delivered into the shop 17/02/23.
On the 23/02/23 I contacted the shop as I was refunded £86.55, only issue being my order came to £87.98 not including the return postage.
I contacted Sam who replied and told me "The total for the original payment has been refunded"
I then had to screen shot the order confirmation to show that this wasn't the case. I was then refunded the difference, but received no apology at all for this. Which I thought was pretty poor.
A week later after all of this and I am still waiting for my postage to be reimbursed because they are waiting for Dave to come into the shop to do this via paypal.
I myself work in the airsoft trade and this is without a shadow of a doubt the worst customer service I have experienced.
No customer should ever have to provide evidence to a shop manager to highlight why the amount refunded doesn't match the order total.
Only given them one star as you cant give a 0% rating.
So I received comms from Dave today.
The saga continues….
Apparently they “don’t refund PayPal fees”, so essentially that means if you pay through PayPal then you’re going to be out of pocket, even if you return it straight away.
I’ve never ordered from a shop that doesn't refund PayPal fees??
“ With regards the postage, my staff tell me we requested a postage receipt (Which is normally required to refund postage) but this was not received.”
That awkward moment you attach a screen shot of the email with the photo of proof of postage which is showing as delivered.
Just goes to show the integrity DCA and the “staff” that work there.
Avoid them.

Luckily DCA is just down the road , so able to go in and speak to the very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great selection of kit and comes into stock fast if not on the shelf
