I work in Thailand. I'm Caucasian, single, photogenic, fit and well off. I travel to every Thai province with an airport. I don't drink alcohol so going out isn't much fun.
After weeks of unpaid and 2 weeks of paid membership on Thai Cupid I can conclusively state that the overwhelming majority of attractive female profiles under 40 are not real.
After paying, all the messages from the attractive under 40's mysteriously stopped. All replies to those stored messages were ignored.
I was bombarded with 100+ messages from over 45, unattractive females from remote provinces. (Real profiles)
I only sent messages to females looking for my age group and I'm no ugly dog. No reason to ignore me. 😳
Stats after paying to date.
100+ messages (15+ a day) from unattractive, over 45 years of age.
3 messages from obvious "let's chat on WhatsApp" scammers. (Thai's don't use WhatsApp).
10 messages from attractive 35-45 year olds. All went missing after seeing I lived in Thailand, thus difficult to SCAM! 🤣

51 messages of intro sent (inclusive of where I live) to attractive 35 to 45 year olds.
-27 ignored completely but profile was active after receiving message.
-2 "bocked all communication."
-1 responded, began a chat, didn't have a LINE ID but then suddenly moved to a remote province with no airport after I offered to fly-in to meet them. 🤣
-7 responded with "nice to meet you here."
Follow-up messages with questions to those 7 resulted in the same "nice to meet you here"replies (Bots)
Only 1 responded with her LINE ID (if you're sent a LINE ID, she's real.)
Thus 1 out of 51 to date. 🤣
The balance have not been active since I sent the intro message. Inconclusive. 😳
I'm giving the site 2 Stars for the vast population of unattractive, older ladies that make-up it's genuine female membership.

I can agree to others that this site is scam. As soon as you get a free membership you get messages from seemingly girls. You are tempted to subscribe to read the messages since you can't do anything without a subscription. Either the girls are fake or free profiles get extra promotion so they get more messages and subscribe. As soon as you subscribe, the messages stop, I didn't get the most expensive subscription so maybe that is a reason.
Even more interesting, after cancelling, about 2 days before the subscription ends I suddenly got many messages again. Today it ended and then I got even more messages. This can't be a coincidence.
Also they are hosting different sites they want you to subscribe as well.

Obviously full of fakes and bots. I already was signed up on another similar site. I signed up to this one and was immediately flooded with messages. But the timing doesn’t work out unless everyone is up at 2am to 6am in the morning in Thailand.
This site I got tons of messages with full sentences. That’s just not how women contact men. You’re lucky if they say more than Hi.
For comparison the other site doesn’t get messages until most people are awake and online. And most women show interest without sending a message at all. It’s just not normal for women to be this desperate.

Scam site, as long as you are a free member, many fake profiles contact you. You can't read their messages. But as soon as you pay the hefty 30 usd per month, they dissappear. All other profiles majority are fake, bots or hired chatters.

"ThaiCupid makes fraudulent financial charges (criminal)"

Registered pretty normally, but then after I paid ThaiCupid demanded more personal and financial information and quickly suspended my account. I gave the requested information and they said they would contact me within 48 hours.

That happened twice, so far no contact from them, account is still "suspended" without any service or use made.

I am working with my credit card bank to treat this as a fraudulent charge and get my money back, since they obviously are not honoring a refund.
