"Brilliant very professional"
I recently booked a 4 day course to do my motorbike test (cbt mod1 mod2) ive been there today and done my cbt with an instructor called kyle and couldnt recommend the place more he was very thorough in telling me what i needed to know and also telling me how to improve in certain areas there was 2 of us there doing our cbt both with very different areas of skill he took the time out to focus on each of our flaws till we got them right and in doing so went over our time slot and into his personal time which he did with a smile to make sure we was both safe on the rode by the end of it. Thanks again cant wait for the next time im there
P.s would also like to thank alice and becky for sorting out the earliest days available for me during this pandemic its been a very easy and pleasant process:)

"Careful which so called “instructor” takes you out."
Totally agree with the other one star reviewer.
If you are going to use them only use Kevin.

"5* Service"
Bob from Wembley Lightning Camp was patient, friendly, knowledgeable and it was a great day doing my CBT. 5* would definitely recommend and considering doing my full licence with them. Thank You.

"Oxford- Really positive and fun…"
Oxford- Really positive and fun experience throughout! Beginning with the team in the office who handled my calls to all the lads who delivered my training. It had been over 20 years since I'd last been on a bike so I was effectively starting all over again.
I received really good experience gained teaching, advice and tips. Over the course of a 3 day, mods 1 and 2 package I spent time with 4 instructors and benefitted from the diversity in method.
Hey, I passed first time!! (apart from the theory test, 2nd time on that)
Thanks.
P. S. Advice to anyone interested in doing the training. Arrive with a willingness to learn, listen and leave your Ego in your car.

"Solid, dependable and Experienced"
These guys really know their stuff. My experience with Lightning is over 2 years when I first took CBT and then more recently DAS. The breadth of instructors they have means you will get the confidence you need to learn the skills required. Being really honest, if you arrive with the right attitude you will pass. You are there to learn and understand and ingest the enormous experience Lightning crew has. I passed first time on CBT, MOD1 and MOD2 by listening and working out what needed to be done. The team there are motivated and dedicated and go the extra mile for you as an individual. Great experience and highly recommended

"They clearly care that all riders that…"
They clearly care that all riders that attend are fully trained and worthy of passing. Great company and great instructor.

"Honest review of my CBT"
Honest review of my CBT
I went for my CBT in the oxford centre, I got there and the first thing I thought about was the fact that the 'building' was 2 cabins with a portaloo, the cabins smelt really bad, they advertise being able to use their gear so I didn't need to take any myself, this equipment stunk + I mean it really smelt, I had a bad smell on my hands after I took the gloves off, if you're going to have equipment there, you need some kind of upkeep to it, a wash of gloves etc wouldn't go a miss to anyone.
I went for a 125cc motorbike, I've never ridden before but they said before booking that this is fine to do first time as this isn't a test it's to teach you how to ride the bike and be safe, the instructor was an ok guy, but didn't want to show you what you was doing wrong he just wanted to tell you that you were doing wrong and that was that... No actual teaching involved.
I was struggling on u turns and the instructor went to move on, when I asked if I could practice because I wasn't doing it correctly, he said there would be time later... at about 11am he told me we had to stop and I couldn't carry on cause he needs to get on and take the other guy that was also learning out onto the road, I was seriously shocked, I was told I could practice later and I had paid a full day, £130.. he said sorry but didn't want to spend all day learning u turns and wanted to go out onto the road. What on earth!
I obviously wanted my money back so emailed the office after calming down, and explained what had happened, she said 'no refunds will be given for your lesson today' and told me to refer to the terms and conditions about the fact they can terminate the lesson at any time, these types of terms I thought would be used if there was some type of bad behaviour, being rude or abusive to staff, I didn't think it would be used if the instructor just couldn't be bothered to carry on with the lesson?
The only thing this place is interested in is taking alot of money off people, and talking about what motorbikes they have at home, trying to impress others. They clearly have no experience of actually teaching anyone, and the customer service is horrendous.

"Great Training - Reading"
Having not ridden a bike in over 15 years I was a little anxious about taking my DAS over a 3 day course. My nerves got settled Instantly when I met the instructors all easy going and friendly, I completed and passed my CBT, MOD 1 & MOD 2 within the time period, so pleased! Great training and enthusiasm from start to finish big thanks to Kieth at Reading lighting, made me snap out of my nerves a few times before my tests!
Would highly recommend them.

"Absolutely brilliant experience"
Absolutely brilliant experience, I hadn’t ridden a bike for 40 years and with the patience and experience of NICK I grew in confidence as the course progressed, from the CBT to taking my full test. Learning to ride a bike again was easier than I first thought thanks to a very experienced and professional team.
I would highly recommend them to anybody wishing to get back on a bike or learning to ride for the first time.
