Dating.com gehört zu einem großen Netzwerk von Dating Apps. Dieses komplette Netzwerk ist eine riesige Betrugs-Maschinerie. Sie werben immer mit 'echten Mitgliedern', jedoch sind die Mehrzahl der Profile Fake. Die Männer (hauptsächlich aus Brasilien, Russland und China) sind Models, Schauspieler, verheiratet oder in Beziehungen mit Männern oder Frauen. Viele dieser Profile sind schon seit Jahren in dieser App.
Ich habe massenhaft Profile dem Support gemeldet, alles verifizierte Mitglieder. Mit ID Nummern, Links, Fotos, Screenshots, teilweise sogar mit den Aussagen der echten Männer, dass sie kein Profil in Dating Apps haben.
Nichts passiert. Im Gegenteil, sogar der Support lügt mich an. In deren Richtlinien steht, wenn man nachweisen kann, dass ein verifiziertes Mitglied verheiratet oder ein Betrüger ist, erstatten sie das Geld, dass man bezahlt hat. Aber trotz eindeutiger Beweise erhalte ich nur Ausreden und Lügen als Antwort.
Mittlerweile habe ich fast 300 Fake Profile gefunden. Aber das scheint von den Betreibern dieser App so gewollt, denn mit denen verdienen sie wahnsinnig viel Geld.
Ich bin seit mehr als zwei Jahren in dieser App und habe in dieser Zeit nur mit Fake Profilen geschrieben.

Diese Antwort ist eine Frechheit! Ich habe den kompletten Mailverkehr zwischen mir und Dating.com der letzten zwei Jahre mit hunderten von gemeldeten Fake Profilen. Und ich habe nur die gemeldet, bei denen die echten Männer von den gestohlenen Bildern mit Männern oder Frauen verheiratet sind bzw. gar kein Profil in dieser Dating App haben!

I was texting a guy from Palma for 16 months. I was naive. He made many excuses why we could not chat elsewhere or move platforms. But he totally hooked me in, I was completely smitten and could not let go… we would text all day. I would keep on refilling my credits. He would send pictures and emails , £10 a time. I have 178 pictures of him..but he seemed so credible. Then the voice messages start coming in. My friends heard a couple and they says he sounded like a computer? I said it was because he was educated and well spoken.. I was so taken in by everything he promised we would do.
I accidentally blocked him day and over £70 worth of phone calls to the help number I managed to reconnect. The email help line took days and never answered correctly with any help.
After all these months and over £15,000 he suddenly turned on me last week blaming I was being pushy and rude. He opened his account which was ‘closed’ just for me and put on extra photos all muscles and top less. I have now blocked and closed ap. because I think I have been taken in and scammed
I did make a complaint but did I hear back - NO
All those months and thousands of pounds - I will never see again. And the current broken heart….

very expensive its cost me over 200.00 as a member just to chat to ppl you have to have credits costing 14.99 that last a miniute and no longer costing a fortune, cannot really connect in the long run because of the expense. I was trying to navigate the site and it went to pay by card automatically and charged me. They make it very hard to get customer support and live chat is hardly ever there if you need answers.

Here I am again, of course, despite the evidence, the confirmation that the person in the pictures on Instagram admits that he has nothing to do with the fake characters on the site, nothing happens. just a continuous silence. And, of course the fake characters keep sending letters and messages. So it is not that this site does not have safe policies to ensure that those characters are real (as they claim for the high costs), but it is the head of all these illegalities. Later Edit: It's the last time I'm writing here, I'm aware that it's not complaints on such platforms that solve things like this, but the police and global anti-crime institutions. So, from the very beginning, before I wrote on this complaint site, I kept sending emails to them (address that they suggest) to delete my account (monthly money was taken from my account, in the conditions in which I insisted to cancel the subscription) because I reclassify identity theft problems in the case of many so-called popular confirmed emails. Of course, I also sent an email with concrete evidence to the email address above, with everything with the requested IDs, well, I also sent an xls file received from them detailing exactly all my interactions with those IDs - of the so-called popular real people. What is the result after a few months? I get the same email again. As I said, for these cases which are actually organized crime, the solution is the anti-crime institutions.

This site is worrisome I did the preview and input my criteria. I am 71 and requesting pen pal. The site had young men and video chat request that looked as if they were from another country and much too young to fit my profile. I am concerned that the men in my age etc were computer generated images. I an not the smartest person but certainly not an easy mark.

Please be aware that this is a scam. The company is called Social Discovery Group and the one positive review is from an employee of theirs. They take your money in a dishonest way, leading you to believe that you are speaking to real people on a dating site, however, it is in fact an AI generated character that responds to your conversations etc. I looked at the available jobs on their website and all are geared towards developing such platforms for "lonely" people.

Do not join if you are looking for a real connection with a real person. This should be illegal as it is deceiving robbery!

I think I just spent 30 pounds to spend 24 hours telling men from different continents that I was looking for someone close to home. None of the conversations revealed anything about themselves to believe they were anything more than AI in the background and many continues to engage after saying that the messaging was pointless.

I can't clearly find that I can delete the account and not be billed next month.
