"Dr. Kolenda"

Dr. Kolenda and his team are first and foremost, kind and welcoming. Verso Surgery is a very attractive facility! Dr. Kolenda is highly skilled and immediately made me feel confident in the procedure I had decided to undergo.
Earlier this spring I visited Dr. Kolenda’s clinic in Oakville. I had been deliberating for quite a while about a lower face lift procedure and, needless to say, I was nervous and full of doubt. However, a good friend and cosmetic doctor, Dr. Megan Carr, had told me Dr. Kolenda is the best!
I suppose it’s human nature to think of the negatives. I don’t know of anyone who has had this kind of surgery. So, I was questioning the idea – what if it didn’t turn out the way I was hoping? These procedures are a lot of money, am I being driven by vanity?
So, fast forward to the day of the consultation.
Dr. Kolenda’s surgery is beautiful! Very well appointed and staffed with individuals who are welcoming and knowledgeable. I was greeted by Veronica Pascu, the Cosmetic Surgery Consultant. After a brief but factual meeting, Dr. Kolenda stepped into the room to speak with me to answer any questions or concerns I might have. He struck me as a very capable and professional doctor. He is also very personable which means a great deal to me! I soon learned that beyond his practice, Dr. Kolenda lectures at the University of Toronto and routinely is a guest speaker at various conferences. Needless to say, in short order, I was convinced I was in good hands.
After a consultation that outlined the lower face-lift procedure, including a lip lift, a date was set in late April.
Prior to this surgery date, I met once again, with Dr. Kolenda to review the process. When I asked him if I would look different after the surgery he told me I would look like myself but better, more youthful. The best answer!
His registered Practical Nurse, Czarina Matias was close by and served to answer any further questions. Czarina is patient and thorough, never indicating my questions might be unnecessary. I felt very comfortable with her.

My surgery date was April 18th. All went well and by day’s end, I was ready to go home. Czarina was there, keeping a close watch over me. I was in very good hands.
The following day I had to return to the clinic for bandaging alterations. Briefly I met with Dr. Kolenda and then I left, to return in 5 weeks time.
Since a partial face lift is a major surgery, I was armed with pain killers and medications to safely guide me through the next few weeks. Although I was anxious to know all was well, as the days ticked on, I felt better and more confident.
I would be lying if I said I was without doubts but honestly, Dr. Kolenda’s words tracked through my head all the time. I knew I was going to be fine and very happy with the results. He is an exceptional cosmetic doctor. I would liken his skills to that of a fine sculptor. One who understands precision and perfection.

In closing I would say that if one has the desire to improve their appearance, perhaps like myself you have spent countless hundreds, even thousands on your face, it’s time to consider seeing Dr. Kolenda. I know from speaking with others, there are many doctors who carry out these procedures but why risk going to someone you do not know and really shouldn’t trust? I can promise anyone, female or male, Dr. Kolenda will look after you and you will be forever grateful and happy!

Had my rhinoplasty here with Dr.Kolenda. I had a friend recommend him after spending months researching and through so many consultations, it felt like Dr.Kolenda understood what I was looking for. I'm 2 months post op it looks pretty good so far but I'm still healing! So happy I finally did it so amazed by how sweet the team was and Dr.Kolenda! 10/10 would recommend
