I've been trying for ages to find a rubber tip to fit on the end of my father's walking stick. It was lost a while ago and we've tried numerous ways to cover the metal point with various rubber tips, with varying degrees of success. Finally, Kitwizard came to our rescue with a Leki spare part.
And just before he could use the stick with the new tip to walk to the shops, my father died.
