I can't speak highly enough about Pro Dive in West End, Roatan, Honduras. From start to finish, their operation exudes professionalism and attention to detail. The moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by Paul, the owner, and made to feel like part of the Pro Dive family.

One of the standout features about Pro Dive is their top-of-the-line and meticulously maintained equipment. As a long-time diver, I greatly appreciate the effort they put into ensuring that every piece of gear is in excellent condition. This commitment to quality undoubtedly contributes to the outstanding diving experiences they provide.

The perks offered by Pro Dive are simply unmatched. With over 20 years of knowledge about the reef, Paul and his team know the best spots and can tailor the dives to suit your preferences. They prioritize safety above all else, and with Sam, the skilled and knowledgeable dive master, guiding us, I felt completely at ease throughout my diving experience. They have an immaculately maintained boat, skillfully navigated by Samario, the boat captain.The personalized experience extends beyond the underwater adventures too. During your dive they provide hot towels on the boat once you exit the water, a fruit snack, and water. Having my own secured locker, made storing my belongings hassle-free, even overnight.

The icing on the cake is their beautiful boat dock, right on the water. They have hot showers, dry towels, and delicious hot coffee. After an amazing day of diving, nothing beats having an ice cold beer in the best hammock chair I’ve ever sat in, while looking at the ocean on a private dock, and telling stories of the adventures we had just experienced. Whether you're an experienced diver or a beginner, Pro Dive is the place to go for an unforgettable, safe, and all-around incredible diving experience in Roatan. This was not my first time diving with them, and it certainly will not be my last. I highly recommend this dive shop to everyone seeking an exceptional diving experience!

"ProDive is the BEST!!!"

We could NOT have asked for a better experience with Paul and his team. They made us feel as though we were the only ones in the ocean, felt like a boutique diving experience everyday. Our gear was always laid out and ready to go, the boats were clean and well taken care of, the shower afterwards was awesome and the dock is beautiful and definitely my favorite on the island. Not to mention the warm towels and pineapple!!!! We much preferred this outfit over others on the island because its not a turn and burn operation. They really care and want to cater to your experience. We dove with our 13 and 17 year olds so it felt even more important that we felt taken care of and safe. We can't wait to visit again. We'll be back!!!!!

"Dive how YOU want to dive!"

Spent a couple of weeks diving with Pro Dive over New Years. Their focus is on small groups so you get personal attention and the opportunity to dive what you want. Divemasters are personable, point out stuff you may never see and give you the freedom to go your own way as long as you stay within their view and near your dive buddy. Warm hand towels, after-dive fruit and hot showers back at the shop are the icing on the cake. Overall, another great dive experience from one of the best shops on the island!

"Best Custom Dive Experience in Roatan"

My husband and I spent two weeks in Roatan for our honeymoon in November 2021 and spent a lot of our time diving with Pro Dive Roatan. I've dove with quite a few dive operations over the years but few can live up to Pro Dive. The quality and personal touches for the comfort and accommodation went above and beyond. Paul did a great job of giving us the flexibility we were looking for - we never felt pressured to follow a schedule like most operators in the area follow. We were able to help choose the dive sites and did a couple of night dives. Pro Dive also had a very nice area to hang out for surface intervals with hammocks, wifi, phone chargers, water, and HOT showers.
To me, the best thing about Pro Dive is that they treat you like family and like the shop is home while you're there. We were welcome to hang out when we wanted, it was safe to leave gear there over the course of your trip, and we got lots of great recommendations for yummy food and great activities in the area.

"3 weeks in roatan"

This is one of those experiences I don't want to tell people about just so that when I return, I can have the shop to myself. I did not have any advanced booking/reservations when I walked into the shop. I ended up doing around 30 dives, some private and some with 2 or 3 other divers, including 2 night dives which were some of my favorite. My experience in Roatan would have been totally different had I not wandered into Pro Dive.

I dove for 3 weeks in November with Pro Dive, and I cannot say enough about the shop. Paul is extremely knowledgeable and attentive and will help even the most nervous divers feel at ease. He truly wants everyone to have a great time diving, and it's obvious that he really enjoys being underwater. I did a few specialities while there, and Paul is a great teacher - he loves to see divers improve and feel more confident and comfortable underwater. Paul does not just check the boxes when it comes to courses and makes sure everyone genuinely understands the material before he certifies. He is also happy to help with any questions you have not related to diving (i.e. where to eat, stay, etc.)

Unlike other dive shops, Pro Dive does not follow a set time to go out every day, but rather is flexible for what works for their divers. They choose the site based on divers' interest and current direction to make for the optimal experience. The guide and captain will get your equipment ready, and you will only need to hop in the boat. After the dive, hot towels and fruit will be waiting for you to enjoy on your cruise back to the dock. Customer service shines at this shop (in and out of the water), and no detail is too little for Paul and Samario to take care of - down to your choice of music playing, and Samario making sure that your fins/mask are ready for you to roll off the boat. This is truly diving your way.

When diving for the day is finished, Pro Dive has a hot showers, fluffy towels, and hammocks on their deck as well as the perfectly temped beer, wifi, and phone chargers and a gorgeous view of the sunset.

Unfortunately, Nik was in the UK while I was there, but I look forward to a trip back to meet him and have a video of my dives.

"I'm an experienced diver"

I'm an experienced diver, and signed on with Pro Dive Roatan to take me on a basic dive to the Reef right off their dock. It was a stress free experience. Very professional, Very nice boat, I had a couple of snorklers with me, and one other diver who I met at the shop.

The reef is amazing. Huge schools of fish of all colors. I highly recommend it.
No need to go below 40 feet for newer divers. Very warm and safe experience.

I will be back. Paul and his crew are a small shop and extremely friendly and pro's.
