"The worst airline ticket experience ever"

My worst airline ticket experience ever. I made a reservation at night. The website said that the price was fixed. The next morning I got a call. They told me the price has gone up since I made the reservation, but they can give me a small discount. Still, the new price with the discount was 32% higher than the original one. Why would you state that the price is fixed if it's not? I could pay a couple of percent more and gotten the tickets from the website of the airline if I knew that earlier. I needed to get the tickets for the exact days and I'd pay that several percent of difference to be sure that nothing is going to change.

I booked a ticket from travelcation but received email to ask me call back. I called in got connected to Mark Smith and he told me the flight I booked has no more tickets.This sounds a typical scam trick which ask you pay a bit more, I thought. The conversation is very comfortable,Mark Smith explained the situation and found a final solution to get the direct flight as originally planned, he was patient, polite and professional. Thanks to Mark and the team to get thing done.

This is a scam. Once you book, they tell you to call them and they raise the price. Happened to me and another person at the same time. All positive reviews follow the same format (mention a customer service person by name and say they were wonderful) and are clearly fake.

Misleading and unprofessional. Save yourself some headache and book directly with the airlines. Horrible communication and bad attitude.

I booked a ticket from travelcation but received email to ask me call back. I called in a few time and eventually connected and they told me the flight I booked has no more tickets and I need to pay additional for it. this sounds a typical scam trick which ask you pay a bit more. I refused it and the CS (Ryan) explained to me why this happens and how he can help. The conversation is very comfortable and he is patient, eventually I paid additional tiny amount to secure the same flight. Though i spent additional time and cost, I still kept the original plan and I will thank for Ryan's help.

Spoke with Ryan, who was very diligent in helping book my flight, finding different options, rescheduling, or refunding when my flight was cancelled. Things are still processing but I feel taken care of so far.

They stay in contact even outside of regular business hours which was very helpful.
