I purchased an Ebike abroad and an intermittent fault developed. I contacted Shimano who said the local agent was Bike UK in Clifton, Bristol. They were EXTREMELY helpful, in spite of me not having bought the bike from them. They handled all the testing and returns, and a new motor was sent. They only charged for one test, and when the fault reoccured they did all the warrenty work for nothing.
Extremely keen, knowledgeable staff. Top notch place to go to buy a bike, or get a service.

Do not take a bike purchased elsewhere in to these guys or they will concoct a false litany of faults that require expensive remedies from them.
Almost like a scam where they require a signed disclaimer if you decide against paying the price. Not good..

I purchased a HP Velotechnik trike from Germany and as they don't deal with the customer directly I asked Bike-UK if they would take delivery and do all the pre-delivery inspections, they did this with no problem and ahead of my prearranged PDI appointment.
As owning a trike is a completely new experience the mechanic who dealt with the inspection and service talked me through all the different points I should know with my new trike, which was surprisingly quite a bit. All personal adjustments that needed to be made were made on the spot and I left feeling confident that there would be no problems.
Thank you Bike-Uk and I would have no problems recommending you to anyone else.
From start to finish the staff were great, knowledgable and friendly.
