My husband heard the ads for American Financing on the radio...they are always advertising. That made me a little skeptical. But after reading the reviews, we reached out, and are so glad we did. Doug Longoria, our mortgage consultant, and Andrea Wurth, loan processor, were both very knowledgeable and quick in their responses. Doug was a great sounding board for us when trying to decide what kind of loan to get. The closing process was easy. I wish we had called earlier!

We refinanced thru American finance for 2 reasons: lock in our interest rate and also to consolidate credit card debt. I thought we were going to be in for a long and difficult process. Working with Alexandra Spollen was a pleasure, (she may not say the same for us, as we got a it frustrated and took it out o her, but she never wavered from being professional and genuinely concerned with our frustration). We had a couple of bumps at the 25th hour of the closing, as the underwriter ALL OF A SUDDEN required additional information due to our VA status. We jumped through all the hoops and successfully closed prior to the end of the month.
Alex and her manager helped us,after 10:30 in the evening to gain access to our account for signatures, as we had locked ourselves out due to entering incorrect passwords three times.
