You did succeed in planning an unforgettable honeymoon for us. All of the services were fantastic and we had an excellent time. We were very satisfied with everything you planned and every service that was scheduled for us. The best memory of our honeymoon would be the hike of the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. We had an excellent guide and it was definitely the highlight of our trip. "Peru, Galapagos, Ecuador Trip"

We traveled with Latin Discoveries in April 2017 for a three-week trip across Peru. We especially enjoyed the variety of archaeological and historic sites that were proposed. The guide's interesting and precise explanations were very helpful. As our first Latin American discovery was a real delight, six months later, without hesitation, we contacted Latin Discoveries again, for our honeymoon, in Ecuador and to the Galapagos. The comfortable haciendas were very typical. and Andres, our guide, was absolutely fascinating during our trip to mainland Ecuador. The Galapagos cruise was of course the highlight of our honeymoon: the excursions, the ship and the crew were amazing! These were both unforgettable experiences in South America.

We are so happy that we booked with Latin Discoveries! Our trip was a 5 star experience and completely exceeded our expectations. Daniel worked with me with to design the perfect trip for our family (kids 8 and 10), to balance time at archeological sites and the Amazon. The trip also accommodated both our budget and timeline. Daniel was so knowledgeable, patient and completely customized our trip to spend just the right amount of time in Lima, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, and the Amazon. When we arrived, we were greeted by our guide Joanna and driver Carlos. The tour in Lima was very informative and fun. We learned and saw so much more than we would have on our own or in a big group. The day was effortless because all of the entry tickets and transportation was taken care of, plus, would be dropped off in one location, walk along various sites and just when we thought we’d have to turn around and retrace our steps, our driver would be waiting for us! Very efficient! Once in the Sacred Valley area, our amazing guide Valentin and driver Carli took care of us for several days, which was great! Having a local guide allowed us to learn things we would have never had learned otherwise, which was especially fun for our kids! For example, Valentin showed my kids how to make mini tattoos on their skin using berries from a field! They loved it. We also made a few stops to play a few local games and to interact with kids. He also frequently asked for our camera to take the best family photos!! He knew the best locations and poses. We felt very safe the entire trip. Our guide in Machu Picchu, Hector was extremely (extremely) knowledgeable and respectful of the Inca culture, plus he would casually stop on the climb up to let us catch our breath, without making us feel like we were terribly out of shape! Phew.

Unfortunately, our trip was cut short because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and we didn’t make it to Puerto Maldonado/Amazon. That being said, the Latin Discoveries team got us on a chartered flight back to Lima when we didn’t think it was possible and Daniel arranged, to our immensely relief, transportation and accommodation in Lima while we waited to return to our home. While waiting in Lima to get back home, Daniel was extraordinarily supportive and helpful. When it came time to leave Peru, Latin Discoveries even arranged transportation for us to the Embassy, which was simply above and beyond what they had to do at that point.

We absolutely loved our trip to Peru! The Peruvian people are kind, sincere and not ‘aggressive’ as is in the case in other tourist destinations. We highly recommend Latin Discoveries and cannot wait to book another trip with them!

"Excellent experience in Peru with Latin Discoveries!"

My family took a tour to Machu Picchu with Latin Discoveries and we felt taken care of the entire trip. The tour guide was caring and very knowledgable regarding the history of each location. The high light for us was eating local food with the local families in their traditional home. They took care of every details including remembering my daughter's 12th birthday and sending as a cake while we were eating lunch at the restaurant on tope of Machu Picchu. It was a very memorable trip for our family and we definitely would go on another tour with Latin Discoveries again!
