"AVOID! These people are pretending to be HMRC to take a chunk of your refund"

I would give a zero review if it was possible. I was contacted by this company and told that I could reclaim a Marriage Allowance refund, they directed me to their website which looks like a government website (.org). They have even made their logo look like an official government one. They email you with the words HMRC in the title to again convince you that they are HMRC. I applied for a marriage allowance refund via them and at no point did they say that they are a claims management company. They also did not say that they would take 35% of my refund (I can prove this as I have all of their correspondence). They applied to HMRC for my refund and took the cheque so that they could take a chunk of my money.

I have reported them to the FCA and sent all of the correspondence from this scam company to them. I want to see that they are prosecuted for fraud and stopped from ripping anyone else off. What an utter disgrace they are.

I have also contacted moneysavingexpert.com as a warning needs to go on their Marriage Allowance refund section.
I have also submitted a complaint to the Advertising Standards Authority.
