Best driving school around!! Your lessons feel like a more like a drive with your friend and yet you still learn more in one lessons than any other instructor. Zaf is a great instructor as well as the rest of the team and there’s a great selection of cars, you really can’t find any better. I would recommend this driving school to anyone and that’s talking from personal experience.

I had a fantastic experience with A1 driving school. I was quite dull at driving and never been to road before , but uncle akhtar and instructor Mr tanzeel did a lot of hardwork and helped me to get through the test. They were very flexible with lessons and treated me like a family member. I would highly recommend A1 driving school to all the people struggling to pass.

I got my lessons from Zaf and I would like to say I had no previous experience in driving however in just 6 lessons, I was able to drive around Derby confidently, purely down to the quality of teaching Zaf adopts. I still have some work to do but the thing I like about Zaf is that he will sit with you for the last 5 minutes of the lesson recapping over what we went through on that lesson and what he would like me to improve on, this has helped me greatly. I would definitely recommend A1 driving school and Zaf to anyone who would like to take driving lessons, with or without previous experience.

Honestly the best driving school in Derby, I came from another instructor because I wasn’t satisfied with my lessons and A1 compared to my previous instructor are 100 times better. I took lessons with Zaf at first but later he became ill so his dad Haji took me on and I ended up passing first time with 2 minors.
