I bought a rice cooker on Ebay from imaginediy. Yes, a rice cooker. It was faulty when unpacked. It turns out Jared's wife Leah was trading under the company name on ebay. The rice cooker had been bought as a house warming present so it was some time before the recipient opened the box and found it was faulty. By then the timescale to return through Ebay had expired. I spoke to Jared and he was extremely rude saying it was nothing to do with the company. I've checked since and Leah is an equal owner of the company. So if she's selling under the company name, they can't say it's nothing to do with Imagine DIY. Leah originally agreed a refund but has since gone quiet. I'm currently contemplating a small claims court claim. I'll win but can I be bothered with the faff for a £25 rice cooker. You are probably considering this company for their core business and not a rice cooker ( I think they've stopped trading on ebay now) but what is relevant is that they have been very unpleasant and unhelpful about the whole episode. I wouldn't want to do any kind of business with them. Extremely unprofessional
