I took my car to the Xpress centre in Tesco's car park New Malden.
I was seen immediately by the very pleasant technician who took a photo of the damage.I received a quote by email the same day, and phoned to book my car in. The repair took 5 hours and was an excellent job.

From start to finish the service I received was exceptional.The centre I used was the Yeading branch Rob the technician was knowledgable and explained how the repair would be carried out and gave me an estimated time when my vehicle would be ready Rob called me 30 minutes early absolutely over the moon with the repair.more than happy to recommend.

Never heard of Xpress Centres until a plant pot with obelisk blew over in gale and just managed to reach my drive to put small 10mm dent in wing and accompanying scratches.

When googling local body shops, I came across Xpress and after looking at their video decided to visit. Local Tesco (Kingston Park, Newcastle) is only a couple of miles away.

Technician came out and took photo of damage, made sympathetic noises when I mentioned plant pot and said I would be emailed a quote, which (received a few hours later) turned out to be £311.

Decided to get another quote from local body shop which turned out to be about 10% less. A few reasonable reviews made a visit worthwhile.

This visit reminded me of the last time I was in a repair place over 30 years ago. Dirty, dingy and repairing cars in street, where they were more likely to damage the car further rather than improve it. When he said “we are always busy mate and it will be at least 3 weeks – the quote might change if we have to spray into the door”. When I stated that the door was not marked in any way, he said that “you can’t just stop at the edge of a panel”, my mind was already made up.

Xpress Centres have all the modern gear and you get a fixed appointment.

I rang next day and accepted the quote. It was booked in the following Friday (an earlier appointment was offered but not suitable for me). It was a 4 hour appointment at 1pm & I paid a 25% deposit £80.

At the appointed time I took the car in and it was inspected for any other damage etc. It only took a few minutes. The technician was expecting me and was polite & professional (sorry can’t remember name). He said he would ring me about 3.30 to advise me of progress. He rang, and said the car would be ready to collect at about 4.30pm.

The car was ready when I arrived and although it was dark & I was checking it in torchlight, it seemed a good job done, and I paid the balance due.

Next day in daylight I was happy with the paint match & finish and any repair comes with a lifetime guarantee.

I have gone overboard with this review, because when I looked before, I could find very few reviews about this company and wanted more information on how it worked.

Would I use Xpress again in future, yes, because it is a refreshing update on traditional body shops and the convenience of a fixed appointment to get the car repaired and back in an afternoon is worth a small premium. It is all they do, so they should be good at it. This gives some confidence, when choosing somewhere to have your car repaired.

However, despite this successful experience, I hope that a toppling plant pot, never forces me to visit any body shop, ever again.

Shocking service on calling evasive when I asked their address so could bring car for inspection

Craig Lynes executive wouldn't take call when I asked so requested quote supplying pic online but Craig insisted quality of pic was inferior & blurred ...quote was excessive £396 odd all I required was a mere rubdown & repaint of vallance where I had sprayed and wind blew the paint onto the wheel arch. Nothing serious but know it should be no more than £100. I got an alternative one.

Something not quote kosher. Avoid

"Really bad service"

Sent photos online as requested for quote, then told an inspection was required as they couldn’t assess it. Had inspection, two weeks, 1 email and 4 phone calls later after being promised multiple times someone would be in touch. Finally, a quote is received, which is roughly 4 x over what I have been quoted elsewhere, also with additional parts that are not required. I would avoid at all costs and visit elsewhere.

I used the service at the Chorley branch Carl stopped what he was doing to sort out my scuffed car.
The service he gave was exceptional I took flyers and wouldn't hesitate to rcommend Xpress to anyone who needs their car body work sorted.

"Very poor communication"

Very poor communication. No one answers the phone. Was contacted by the at fault parties insurer LV to use these guys but after days of chasing them up I decided to give up and use my own insurers recommended repair centre.
