The electrics had gone in the basement and that meant the sump pumps weren't working. That meant manually emptying 100s of gallons of water throughout the night.
When the engineer Craig, arrived, he quickly assessed what had happened and made all the checks required. This put my mind at ease that I felt confident that things were back in working order. He also then advised me of what improvements could be made and gave me the details I needed to pass on to any other engineer. He made sure to remind me to only use specific registered electricians to do the job. He was professional, thorough, efficient and amiable. You cannot ask for more than that.
