Very few firms supply spare keys for Volvos - they are rated as particularly difficult to supply, also expensive, so I was grateful that 3D Autokeys could do it. The key took more than a month to arrive, but 3D were very helpful when I had to change the appointment date, twice, due to urgent medical appointments, and when technician Glen came he was friendly, efficient and informative. The key itself works fine and looks very good quality - much better than a previous aftermarket key bought for a previous car from another company.

Quoted £84 for reprogramming 2 x key fobs, once assessed realised it was just damaged pins and they only charged me the £15 assessment fee.
Would have been happy to pay the quoted price.

Hi just wanted to put a fantastic review on trust pilot for this great family run company, from start to finish everything went very smoothly. From my initial emails & quotes from Melissa very helpful gave me a date for them to come to mine to cut 2 keys. Got a phone call on the day 23/03/2024 nice & early to tell me they was on the way, on arrival was met by Glen who explained everything, very knowledgeable & helpful & went that extra mile. "Didn't get what I was quoted for."

Didn't get what I was quoted for.
When I phoned up for a quote (Jordan) I was told that they would be able to provide me with 2 new fold away keys for my van. However after the first visit was aborted due to "wrong components"on the Wednesday I was told they would return on Friday with the correct components to complete the job. At no time was I informed that instead of getting the job I was quoted for (fold away keys) I would be getting the opposite to what I had requested, (ridged key).When I called the office and spoke to Jordan expressing my disappointment the response I got was "I can always ask the technician to take the keys back and cancel the job). I don't feel this was very fair or professional after I had to stay at home for a second day and still didn't get what I was quoted for.

Had my spare key made by Ash today. Lovely chap! Really excellent service at my home address. Good price, much cheaper than the dealer price. Time will tell if it lasts. Got a year’s warranty with it. All round I’m impressed and please.
