"Great work at fair prices …"

I really can't say how refreshing it is to find a helpful garage, I've used them four time now and will not even bother getting quotes elsewhere as I know when I take it just the ticket I'll be treated fairly, excellent standard of work, they actively search for the best prices for parts and are definitely not rip off merchants which is common in this game.
Well done Graham and team I'd give 10 stars if it were possible.

"Exceptional"

I started using Just the Ticket several years ago for the servicing and MOT of my car, following a number of spontaneous recommendations from my then work colleagues. Since then, I have always been fully satisfied with their service. I have now given my car away and this one and final 5 star review encompasses an exceptional series of 5 star experiences.

"This is not just the best car repair…"

This is not just the best car repair business I have ever experienced it's one of the best business I have ever come across in any sector. From giving me a quote to carrying out the repairs they have been nothing but 100% professional. Every single person I have dealt with made me feel like my business was valued, plus they did a fantastic job on time at an amazing price. I can't recommend them highly enough. My wife and I have been using JTT for several years now. Initially it was to get an MOT on my old van. They have grown into an essential part of our motoring life, carrying out servicing and repairs (including the occasional body damage repair😱) on both of my new vans and several cars we have had over the last few years.
I can thoroughly recommend Just The Ticket for their excellent workmanship and customer care.

"Completely Shocking and Dishonest Garage"

In 2019 I booked my van in with Just the Ticket to have a new clutch fitted, two hoses connected to the antifreeze tank, and other bits... having purchased the parts ie best brake pads, break disk, anti roll bar rubbers, hoses, etc. To do an update on key parts, the van was returned to me with oil DRIPPING on the inner wall of the left tyre inner wall/wheel. When I called to Just the Ticket to complain, thinking it may have been the clutch or gearbox oil, they asked me to bring it back in, I did, and learnt it was the drive shaft wheel black hose box had been burst causing oil to gush onto tyre. They said if I purchased part of approximately £50 including VAT which I did (feeling not wanting to annoy by making big fuss, as they had done favour getting slave cylinder for clutch ie one I got was wrong size). Then in my trying to turn my heater on, I found the 1-4 turn button wasn't moving freely. It was jammed. So I called Just the Ticket again and learnt the guy that fitted my clutch had the same Vauxhall Movano type van as I had and he took out my heater parts to test on his van. Hence the new fault found ontop of the burst wheel tube. I noted that they offered to fit part for free ie the £50 part, and noted after fiddling with heater part it started to move. I ended up selling the van within two weeks and didn't go back to Just the Ticket. But in 2021, having bought a newer van in 2019, I needed to have Air con system checked, fast blinking indicator, check brake wear light etc. I got no email reply, only phone call, as if they have a phobia about responding in writing to give quotes etc. Nonetheless, I was only charged approximately £50 to tell me slow oil drip on turbo system is normal, £600 for air con system to be fixed apparently some kind of leak. NO DETAILS WAS GIVEN AS TO PART NEED AND/OR LABOUR COST arriving to £600. But upon washing van 1 week or so later I noticed a rub, scratch, on paint white paint on front bumper black bumper too, with tinge of blue, as if when driving van into their tight garage they rubbed paint and black bumper onto a metal gate or concrete, noting I take photos regularly of van, and there was no mark on front wing in July, but when after taking van to Just the Ticket in October, appears a mark. They have they say, a very arrogant and rude manager owner, NO CCTV in the front of their garage despite being MOT STATION, to prove they did not cause damage. They have NO CCTV to show my van came into their garage in mint condition on wing, and left damaged. No, simply they provided upon complaining no CCTV footage at all, claiming they have none. Completely dodgy, garage, albeit, professional on surface. A) Bursting tube with black oil, upon removing clutch, B) taking out my heater part WITHOUT MY PERMISSION to test another vehicle and C) causing damage again, in 2021 October, and claiming to not have CCTV to prove they didn't cause damage, is just scandalous. I knew not to trust this garage again. Hence why despite paying in 2019 £50-70 an hour and paying Vauxhall main dealer £165 an hour, between buying newer van in 2019, I just did not trust them to have my van again, knowing what they did to my old van. But, I tbough, give them one more chance, and again, my van left their garage with damage. Damage this rude garage owner could not prove he didn't do, because he had no CCTV. LIKEWISE, damage I cannot prove 100% they caused, as failed to walk around van before leaving it with them, taking video, of van. However, unless I spotted damage upon collecting van, moment I left garage, even if had taken video, moment left it for week without seeing damage, there raises doubt in court. Hence why I'm not going to waste my time suing this rude arrogant business owner under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. As judge will say, fact they didn't produce any CCTV footage to protect their business, IS ODD and if not Dodgy... but its not proof they caused damage. The owner offered to refund me £50 I spent on part, after complaining in 2021 about the scratch to paintwork and bumper. But the rude arrogant individual, HAS NOT MADE PAYMENT TO ME despite giving him bank account details to make said refund. Of a part they should have purchased since the gushing fresh oil WAS NOT ON MY INNER WALL OF TYRE in taking van into get clutch fitted. And I doubt that they would have offered to fit for free, if oil leak was there from before on tyre. A completely dishonest garage. My experience is, upon leaving van in October 2021, at 8am, I didn't want it to stay in their beyond 5pm hence noting by 3pm they said it wasn't finished a simple air con check, and oil test, which came back fine and normal on all turbo diesels. Which makes me wonder if the cheap less than £50-60 bill was because they knew they caused damage to paint and felt too bad to charge even an hourly rate of they say £80-£90 ... noting price jump for hourly rate from 2019.

Recently took my wife's car to JTT for exhaust and front disc replacement never having used them before, and I discovered why there are so many good reviews here! Knowledgable, friendly and helpful receptionists excellent standard of workmanship all completed on time at a fair price. I will definitely use them again. Thank you very much!
