"customer service and return policies awful!"
Do not order from this place! Customer service is apathetic and return policies are ridiculous. I ordered an item that didn’t end up working out and Rockler expects you to pay for return shipping instead of sending you a return label to print out like every other reputable company I’ve ever dealt with. It cost me FIFTY dollars to return the item, and when I emailed to inquire about my issue, I wasn’t pointed to another item that may have worked, offered no assistance- just “ return it at your cost.”
I could’ve bought the same thing at Amazon and Amazon would have paid for return shipping. Never dealing with Rocker again. Buyer beware.

"My husband's CHRISTMAS RUINED"
My husband is retired and does woodworking as a hobby. He has every thing-a-magig there is. So I found some items on Rockler's site that he didn't have. I READ the DELIVERY information provided on their website and determined that I'd be fine with delivery expected in 7-10 , so ordered them on December 13. The items were not received until JANUARY 2. Needless to say I was extremely disappointed. I did contact Rockler before Christmas and they blamed it on Mail Innovations. Yes they did ship the item but who they shipped it with has such bad reviews WHY would you use them. The C.S. people at Rockler DON'T CARE ! I will NEVER buy from them again. Their SO-CALLED customer assistance people should be called Customer DISservice . RUDE and unwilling to do make customers satisfied. After we finally received the item 10 DAYS LATE, I mentioned to my husband about the lag in receipt. He Laughed.... He said everytime he orders from them He has to wait for WEEKS to receive the items. They are in Minnesota we're in MISSOURI it's not like they are shipping to a foreign country.

"i have been a loyal customer of Rockler…"
i have been a loyal customer of Rockler for many years and have bought almost all of my large woodworking equipment from them. Recently I bought a Next Wave Shark HD4 CNC machine and discovered that it is a piece of junk. Rockler has me trying to work it out with the manufacturer which hasnt corrected the problems. The store manager just shrugs his shoulders and says it's out of his control. Headquarters won't return two emails that I have sent them.
To add salt to the wound I took out product insurance on the touch plate and when it broke, I took it back into a closer Rockler store and they said I would have to take it back to the Rockler store where I purchased it.
I told Rockler that they are ruining their reputation selling cheaply made equipment , particularly in the $4000 price range that this CNC machine sells for...buyer beware!!

Lindsey at Sandy Springs Rockler store spent an hour with me guiding me through various decision making processes regarding setting up my hobby shop. She was extremely helpful, patient and knowledgeable. Through I was there to begin conceptualizing my ideas, she was very patient the entire time. Highly recommend her to others seeking help. A++

"Expensive and ZERO product support!"
Rockler is a kind of woodwork "boutique". Very high prices, average value products and ZERO after sale support. If you need to return something, Rockler makes you ship it back on your own dime and will not even sell you a return shipping label. Customer "service" act like they're doing you a favor by even talking to you. I still buy from them on occasion but whenever possible, I prefer to stick with Amazon or Home Depot. Rockler is certainly NOT a value destination for the consumer.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
I ordered a roller rated for 440lbs and what I received was only rated for 176lbs.
Lets think about this for a minute 176+176=352 +88 = 440
I would need 2 and a half of these lousy pieces of crap to do the job of what I ordered.
I immediately emailed customer service, 7 days later they still have not emailed me back.

"I purchased a stain gel over a month…"
I purchased a stain gel over a month ago. After waiting roughly 2 weeks for delivery my product arrived damaged. I called Rockler and was told could not provide refund due to THIRD party (Amazon). Was instructed by THIRD party to return for refund. Sent back by way of UPS (receipt in hand) after waiting over a month still no refund. Will never buy from this company again.

"Terrible Customer Service"
This was by far the WORST customer service I have ever received from an amazon seller. One of my packages did not arrive. The response was "here's the tracking number, you figure it out". I work in customer service myself, when my customer does not receive a package that I sent, I find it and ensure they get what they bought. If I responded to a customer the way Rockler did, I would be fired.

"Horrible"
Horrible! I placed an order late on a Saturday night. Sent an email a few hour later, when they are closed Saturday afternoon through Monday morning mind you) requesting the order be cancelled. I got an email Monday at 815 am saying oh sorry, we are processing your order. WRONG. I will never buy here again. EVER! Worst customer service I ever experienced.
