I’m delighted that my sister loved the rose . She sent me a photo … the rose had 30 buds on it and the perfume exquisite .
It was for her wedding anniversary although she lost her husband a few years ago to cancer .
The rose was special because she had yellow roses in her wedding bouquet .

I've placed several orders with David Austin over the last couple of years. We inherited a "builders' finish" garden here in Norfolk and for several years before taking the plunge with planting we used the David Austin chat facility to discuss which roses would work best in various locations round the garden. They gave generously of their time, and their advice was spot on. In their second year the rambling roses they recommended are beginning to look very impressive here and have transformed an ugly wall in our garden. We have since ordered more climbers and a rose for a pot on our terrace and I am confident that those will also flourish here.

Their range of roses is exceptional, they are always packed beautifully and arrive in pristine condition, and the planting and maintenance advice that David Austin gives seems to work very well. Their plants are so much nicer than the roses available at most garden centres. We have (so far) bought Phyllis Bide and Alberic Barbier ramblers, Mme Alfred Carriere climbers and Boscobel. All just gorgeous here.

David Austin are very highly recommended by us and we'll definitely be using them in future as we fill out our designs and planting.

Ordered 4 David Austin roses from davidaustin.com. All came looking a little sick and 2 really looked almost dead. Will move to Proven Winners roses moving forward

"Purchased a "Generous Gardener"…"

Purchased a "Generous Gardener" climbing rose in Feb. It bloomed in late May. It was not the correct rose. It was perfectly white instead of pink and very few, and flat shaped petals. It was an Iceburg climbing rose, I've seen many. I paid $50 something including shipping, so obviously I was unhappy. I contacted them 6 days ago and asked about it. I said I would send a picture separately if asked, since their online contact didn't include a way to add one. I never heard back. Disappointed. I have several David Austin's but this will be my last.

I bought 4 potted roses from US David Austin website and it is a preorder shipped from mid May. I was so excited since this was the first time I ordered David Austin roses. I knew it had a risk to order live plant online, but I really like them and I watched a lot of unboxing videos from YouTube before I placed my order.
Yesterday I received my roses after one month waiting. They are totally nightmare to me. All of them are really small and in terrible condition.
Olivia and queen of Sweden are no more than 5 inches tall with sparse unhealthy leaves. One fell out of the packaging base sitting on the other. 2 of 4 branches were broken and now Olivia has 5 leaves altogether.
The other two looks a little better. Lady of shallot is the bushiest of four, but powdery mildew everywhere, yellowish rot leaves. Desdemona was the only one has chance to survive, I think, at that moment. However, next morning I found it was slightly infected with powdery mildew along with queen of sweden. Olivia becomes the only rose free of disease with poorly 4 leaves (one more leaves fell off overnight). I really feel heart bleeding.
I probably won’t buy any roses from this vendor and will not recommend.

Ok , so I spend $32-$33 each for these roses and the potted roses show up tattered and really looking like I've wasted my money. Perhaps they should give some deep consideration as to how they ship them or maybe what company they ship with

I have just received my 2 potted rose plants and they are fabulous! They were well packaged, and delivered with care by DPD.
Both plants have lots of buds and are in excellent condition. Looking forward to planting them out on my allotment.
