"When I want to give a special gift…"

When I want to give a special gift whether it is for a family member, customer or friend I think of David Austin I have never been disappointed. While my daughter has incredible gardens she had only 2 rose bushes.
While her birthday was in June the rose bush I ordered was delivered last month with two beautiful pink buds and is already planted. Now I think she is hooked on roses making my gift giving easier in the future. Thank you

I am very happy with my purchase. The roses are stunning and they were very well packed. I don't live in UK so I was really unsure about flowers delivered in another country but everything went fine.
I contacted the customer service several times and they were also very helpful.
Would definitely order again in the future.

Your shop staff are very rude and snotty and not helpful however your garden staff are kind and helpful however we did not enjoy are experience due to the rude lady on the till

"overpriced food!"

On visiting recently we decided to take a break and head for the tea shop first only to find sandwiches are £5.50! I couldn’t justify buying two sandwiches for £11.00!! Who sets this absurd food pricing structure? Come on! We know the national trust are dear but I could get two bags of shopping for that much! Please sort the pricing out as it is a joke. We got up and walked out without even looking at the roses!

I have purchased six roses now online from David Austin and have been delighted with the quality of the plants, the quick delivery and also how they are prepared for transit ensuring they arrive safely. I would have no hesitation at all in recommending David Austin roses.

"Not the right rose"

In 1995 I bought from a Telegraph Offer three old roses, one of which was a Souvenir du Docteur Jamain. It has been a brilliant rose and I decided to buy another and bought one from David Austin - such a disappointment, a different rose totally. I have given it a couple of years to perhaps develop the beautiful large red rose of the first bush but it really hasn't. Two other roses I bought from David Austin I have dug up and thrown away as they were so poor. I feel this company is ripping off its customers.

I ordered three roses, which arrived promptly, in excellent condition and are now roaring away. I really can't ask for more.

I had problems with a Roald Dahl rose from David Austin purchased in November 2016 which has had stunted leaf and stem growth and hasn't bloomed despite my best attentions. I have a number of their roses which look very beautiful and are thriving.
Before I contacted them to claim on the guarantee I read some of the reviews here and was horrified that they seemed to be avoiding their promises. However on contacting them I am pleased to say that my email was answered promptly, I was asked to submit a photograph (a reasonable request as some people may try to claim unfairly) and I did so. The result was that within a week I was in receipt of a replacement rose which looks very healthy and full of buds.
I feel better that my faith has been restored in this company and look forward to purchasing more of their heavenly roses in the future.
