"Excellent experience. Helpful, quick and cheaper than my bank"

Started looking for a solution to get a better rate a year ago, after loosing up to 3% of my money every time I transferred hard earned cash through my bank (Natwest). As the transferred amounts got larger over the years, I was really starting to get frustrated by loosing a couple of hundred Pounds every time I did so.
I've transferred money through Midpoint a number of times now and I've been very happy with the results. It's cheaper, the service is great and it's quicker than the traditional banking route. By the way, I only learned this later, but you don't only get the better FX rate, but you also don't pay the transfer charges the bank imposes on you, which makes using Midpoint a particularly good deal.
Setting up the account cost nothing except 5 minutes of my time to send a copy of my passport and proof of address. They turned my application around within a few hours and I was ready to go.
These guys are really on the top of their game, they're helpful and they're a friendly bunch. More power to them! Keep up the good work!

The transfer went very smoothly and I happened to get a great conversion rate. One key difference to other transfer services is you don't get to lock in the rate at the moment you place your order, instead you get the rate that is live later when your deal is matched. So if you are watching the market to transfer when the live rates hit a certain point, you probably should use the other services. Otherwise if you just want to be sure you get the lowest fees etc, this is a really good service.
