"Fantastic service"

I went there with certain budget, determined to obtain some jewellery for my wife's birthday, & had no real idea of what item(s) I would get. I knew I wanted something unique but tasteful as my wife is not into flashy stuff.
Well, they couldn't go far enough for me. The proprietor himself was very knowledgeable and pretty well understood what my aim was. There wasn't time wasting sales pitching, just a good selection of items in keeping with my aims.
So, I left thoroughly pleased with myself with a beautiful rose gold necklace pendant and matching ear rings, beautifully gift wrapped. Needless to say, my wife is thrilled with her present. Brownie points in the bag!
Definitely top of my list to back to in future.

What an outstanding Shop and even better service. Thank you A Lea Jewellers for helping me with my recent purchase of a gift for the wife. Aberdare should be proud to have such a great shop with a wide range of specialist products. The alterations needed were completed within a few hours as promised and all included in the cost. She's over the moon with it.

I've used the store in the past many times and the staff are always welcoming and friendly. keep up the good work. Aberdare needs you.

"RIPPED OFF, BIG TIME!"

I have been buy products here for over 40 years!
I recently took three watches in,two for a link removal and batteries for the three.
I was quoted £10 per link, but no mention of the price of the batteries.
I called in later to collect and I was astounded to be charged £46! Three batteries costing £26, when they are £3.50 each normally!
I later complained to no avail. The gentleman gave me a load of waffle about the trade, etc and I requested as a dissatisfied Customer for a discount
He became obnoxious and I cut him off.
Trading Standards advised accordingly and I have followed the usual procedure!
It would appear from.this instance that first class is the order of the day when purchasing, but THIRD class is the order when there is a complaint!
You've lost a Customer of 40 years. Shame on you!
