They then rang me back. I was then asked questions to clarify my claims and assigned a solicitor (Aston Fitzgibbon). My claims were for Industrial Hearing Loss and Vibration White Finger. Aston either rang or wrote to me to get all the details required to proceed, he then dealt with the companies concerned and kept me informed at all stages of the process. Hi my name is chris, on 22/12/2011 I had an accident at work which caused a severe injury to my left lower leg. This renderd me practicaly unable to walk over the christmas period, meaning that as a grown man I had to relly on the help of my family for all the things I would normally do for myself. Not nice at any time of year but being christmas it created a bit of an atmosphere in the family, as you can imagine.
Shortly after christmas I contacted claims for you to see if there was a way I could be recompenced for my injury & discomfort. My injury was caused by my employer not giving me any form of training for working at height, thus resulting in me loosing my footing & falling through the large industrial fan that I was trying to chain down ready for transporting. Without going into detail, I sustained severe damage to my left lower leg. I was fortunate not to fall from my truck to the floor where the consequences could have been a lot more severe if not fatal.
