"I purchased DrinkTanks' 64-oz growler…and Keg Cap"

I purchased DrinkTanks' 64-oz growler from Dust Bowl Brewery in Monterey because they highly recommended this plus they give a generous discount for filling it up for all of 2021. It has exceeded my expectations on keeping the brew cold. To make the growler complete, I purchased the Keg Cap from DrinkTank directly. I arrived in three days and I couldn't be happier with this purchase. I no longer have to drink up the brew in two days. The Keg Cap system has kept my brews fresh for four days which is just the right amount time for me to enjoy a growler full of brew without overindulging at any one sitting. It took me a few trials to get the right amount of CO2 into the growler but now that I have it figured out, I appreciate this simplistic system as compared to any of the larger automatic pressurizing contraptions.

Was quick to acknowledge order and pull money from my PayPal account, but no updates or tracking info. It wasn't until I called that I found out product had shipped. This is a issue since it is being delivered to Chicago where porch pirates are commonplace I need to know when it's going to be delivered. Customer service was nice after they called me back, and was able to provide a tracking number, but wasn't able to update my account info to show the purchase. This review is only for their system since I have yet to receive the actual product yet.

"STEP BACKWARDS"

We have owned a 128 oz for several years and literally used it everyday. Most of the time it is bigger than we needed so we bought a 64 oz. We even talked about buying 2 so one could be in the teardrop camper and we would not forget or have to move it back and forth. So glad we did not waste our money. The lid attachment mechanism has 2 issues. 1) The wires that loop over the top are not aligned with the slots in the lid (with extra effort not needed on our 128 oz you can force them in line) 2) The wires that loop over the top are spring loaded to pop up so that when you pour they are in the pour stream and cause a mess (again this is not an issue on our old 128 oz.).
I tried bending the wires to relieve the pop up pressure and then they just come off.

Order was filled and shipped quickly. Arrived before estimated arrival date. This is my second drink tank. I also have the keg cap.
Only thing I would like to see is a way to track my order.
