"Utterly appaling!!"

Utterly appaling!!! Do not use!!! Damaged Hub, Car unsafe, missing caps and valves.... Wish I could give zero stars!!

Sent car to have all four wheels to be refurb to rectify a porous alloy that was causing one tyre to slowly deflate. (Whether this has actually been rectified, yet to find out).

There were no communications over the readiness of the vehicle and after 8 calls to the number were finally able to get hold of someone - who advised they couldn't get the bolts in one of the wheels in properly so would force it. I still have one not fitted.

In short, I sent them a vehicle with four perfectly well fitting wheels, no problem with the bolts or hubs, or anything else for that matter, this I know due to it having a full service and report the week prior. What was returned is a vehicle with a wheel that is not fitted properly and is unsafe to drive. It fitted before they had it -it doesn't fit now. It really is that simple as to the people at fault here.

This is further to the fact it is now missing its dustcaps and a valve cap.
These missing components were NOT mentioned at the time of collection, nor was a thorough vehicle hand over check completed

I short my vehicle is in a worse condition than they had it. Following both the AA and severall other garage and mechanics evaluations - Basically They mis seated the wheel on the hub and then forced the bolts in, damaging the hub - which now aparently I have to pay to be repaired - their excuse: 'The bolts were no good' Funny how the other three wheels were when they are allthe same age...

The entire job and customer reponse is clearly rushed and hence - the state of the work completed demonstrates that and I find it shocking that ANY company can return a vehicle that is unsafe on the road.

This vehicle has to travel to Cornwall in a weeks time for a family holiday and just for the record, and not for emotive effect; but this is a key workers car the've also just taken off the road. DO NOT TAKE THE RISK!!!!

Got alloy wheels refurbished on BMW 1 series but not 100% happy though 😒
1. Quality of spray was good
2. Wheel balancing was good
3. Service was good
4. Temporary tyres fitted was good
But
5. Alloy wheel existing flat spots not fixed by refurbishment 😒
6. Inner parts of alloys still had marks so not fixed by refurbishment 🙁
7. BMW M stickers no longer on alloys 😟

Also in reply to their reply the wheels were not badly corroded so don't know where they get this from. These were existing flat spots and should have been fixed.
Wasn't told that they would not replace the stickers.

the worst experience ever took one diamond cut wheel for complete refurb was told 3 day service came back in 7 days, 2 visible marks in machined surface, wheel covered in oil, paint spilled on tyre, got to pay again to have wheel done properly

Just had the wheels on my Jeep brought back like new by the Dudley Branch. They were badly corroded and now they look like new, I opted for the 3 day service, they rang me after 2 days to say they were ready, unfortunately i could not collect them until day 3. Price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend them if you want a quality job at a reasonable price

Had all four wheels refurbished by the Kidderminster depot,poor service when I collected my car only one wheel had the wheel nut covers on them and they had lost the centre cap for the front left wheel.
The wheel nut covers were thrown in the back footwell, the locking wheel nut remover was on the passenger front seat and was told that the car arrived with a centre cap missing, funny how they didn't spot this when they checked the car over because they spotted every other little scratch and blemish.
They have said they will get me four new centre caps I'm not going to hold my breath.
When I initially got a phone call to say they were finished I was told one of the wheels had reacted and I could have a look and see if I thought it was acceptable.

Wheelfurb - Dudley, West Midlands, recently refurbished the alloys on my Audi A3 S-line. The staff were most helpful, fast and efficient.
The cost was also very competitive. I am extremely pleased with the result and would certainly use them again.

My alloy wheels were at the end of their life and I was considering getting new ones . But then I looked on google and found this company local to me and looked a good price.
I went and seen them and they booked me in for a same day which I think is a great price at £175. That’s everything for 4 18” wheels , for standard colours ie: silver , gunmetal.
So I dropped my car off on the morning at 9 am and picked it up at 17:30 that evening and I was impressed!
Would recommend to anyone looking to get their wheels done .
Brilliant lads well chuffed with the outcome!

"Wouldn’t recommend"

Dropped a wheel off to have a buckle repaired. When I went back to the collect the wheel, they had caused damage to wheel itself and also fitted a tyre back on that wasn’t even mine and basically they managed to lose a brand new tyre it went in with. I wouldn’t use them again or recommend them to anyone.

The damage caused to the face of the alloy was not as a result of the repair, the damage was done to the wheel by being careless when removing the tyre. Also I was assured that no damage would be caused by having a slight buckle removed from the rear of the alloy. On Saturday when I came to collect the wheel the lad who dealt with me told me he’d sandblast the alloy and powder coat it, not do a smart repair, so again misled

As long as the smart repair is as good as the wheel was dropped off then I’ll leave it as that. As explained on the phone I need this wheel back on the car before Friday, unfortunately I can’t get to the unit so it will have to be dropped to me and fitted to the car.

I had 2 mercedes done a c220 and a c320 they both were mint and excellent customer service from the tamworth branch the 2 young lads were really helpful and the price quotes was the price I paid.
Will definitely recommend tamworth branch.
