I wanted to try some different wines and had a call from Adam Bridge. He was so helpful and recommended some wine he thought I might like. I’ve ordered 6 bottles and they were so reasonable. I look forward to trying them!

Whilst my review of LAITHWAITES is first class, this particular delivery was very poor. I have a standing order with LAITHWAITES, which I know for sure is always clearly printed on every delivery, which says that if we happen to be out, our garage door is unlocked, and the box can safely be left in the garage. On this occasion, the driver decided to try to find a neghbour with whom to leave the delivery. When we collected from our neighbour, her comment was that the driver could barely speak a word of English, which perhaps explains his inability to read the instructions on the parcel. By the way, we weren’t in because I had, unexpectedly been taken to hospital. LAITHWAITES, you need to speak to your carrier and ask them to address the situation, as it does, unfortunately, reflect on you.

"Use one of their excellent wine advisers"

I have ordered wine through a wine advisor at Laithwaites for a few years now. The service has steadily improved as I have got to know better my adviser. He stays in regular contact, seeks out wines that he thinks might appeal and alerts me to offers that are available on the ones he knows I like. Nothing new in that, you might think; but the value is in the detail of the service - wine delivered to more than one address, deliveries on defined days with alerts for time-slot and someone to quickly fix a problem when something goes wrong - all done with a pleasant friendly manner. I keep an eye on other offers but have never found better deals. Its great to deal with someone you can trust when not-insignificant sums of money are involved. Strongly recommended.

"The driver/delivery person"

The driver/delivery person, again left package at my front door. Not at back porch as requested. I am unable to carry it through the house from the front door. When left at back porch, I am able to manoeuver it with care.
How is the driver unable to follow instructions or read label where it states safe place back porch !
