I was never told that the fees/interest were out in the stratosphere. Equipment cost $6k and somehow is costing me almost $11k. I got ripped off somewhere, none of this was explained to me, there is absolutely no advantage if I want to buy out early and no way to get out of the lease... aggravated and disappointed

My experience with national is that they would never put the customer first. I had purchased a piece of equipment that I drove 500 km to pick up but I couldn't because the vendor required an original document that National didn't want to pay a courier charge
to have it sent. Did I mention the $295 arrangement fee they charge?
Yes they are quick to approve you. Yes they are quick to pay the vendor but they aren't quick to tell you about all of the extra fees and charges.
If you are looking to lease I would recommend anyone but National.

Very Bad, Absolutely a 'Horrible' company....Absolutely a 'legal' scam. Try selling what you bought before the lease is due and you will find that you need to repay more money than your original purchase price in their fee's and interest. I only say its a 'legal' scam, as yes, amongst all the fine print that we all read so well, there are some teenie tiny words that mention you will pay, pay, pay and we will 'Always' make out like bandits. Any reputable company does not deal this way. This company does not deal fairly, and thats all I myself am after. Fair is Fair, and CWB is not, very not.

I can tell anybody reading this, that's the first place I tried. I called CWB, and all I got, 100% of the conversation from CWB completely revolved around and I quote 'you signed the contract, you signed the contract, you signed the contract', that is all they cared about,… There was absolutely no discussion from them how this could be made better, all they wanted was their money, and hiding behind their sneaky contract as their shield as to why they should be getting it.

I have ran an electrical contracting business for almost 30 years now, and I can tell you that as a business owner I find their practises almost criminal, and I absolutely 100% could never treat one of my customers the way they've treated me.

Be very careful what you sign

I found the staff to be efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. The rates and terms were competitive but still somewhat better than the banks. I would recommend CWB National Leasing and will continue to work with them on any projects in the future.
