"Armor Concepts is an excellent, cost-effective and fairly easily-installed upgrade to home door security."
After installing the Armor door system for 4 single doors and one double door, I have the following comments:
- This is an excellent, cost-effective system that can be installed in about 20-30 minutes per door. It substantially upgrades the ability of any door to withstand being kicked in.
- The screws for the hinge and latchplate reinforcement should be square-drive and not Philips drive. They are fairly long and require quite a bit of torque to install and a Philips drive "cams" out too easily and rounds off the inside of the Philips head. A square-drive bit should be included in the kit or can be purchased at any local hardware store.
- After the pilot holes are drilled for the 3 1/2" screws, spraying them with cooking oil spray makes driving them much easier.
- Some installations may work better if the lip of the existing latchplate is removed so that it does not interfere with the same lip on the latchplate reinforcement that is part of the Armor kit.

"I feel safer"
After installing this on both doors, I have to say I do feel safer. Glad I came across these.

"Fantastic protection"
I bought the EZ Armor as part of a whole security upgrade I was doing on the doors to my house. I installed Grade 1 deadbolts where there were no deadbolts at all, and of course the EZ Armor system. I am more than happy at the level of protection that this product provides for me. When actually examining the door and hinges during installation, I realized how flimsy an unprotected door jamb is, and how my hinges were attached with a screw that couldn't have been more than half an inch in length. Having long screws attaching the metal reinforcements to the frame makes my door an actual barrier rather than just a slight hurdle. I highly recommend this product and won't ever be without it.

"Seems to work fine, but weatherstrip is an issue."
I installed the dead bolt door unit and it seems to work fine, but has pushed the weather-strip out of the way and now there is a draft. I called and spoke to Armor Concepts. They have a piece of weather-strip the sell to help with this issue. I have not ordered it yet. I hope to find something local. I think the weather-strip should be included with the Armor Concepts products as it's negligible to the overall cost, and will save a customer a lot of hassle if they need to purchase one.

"Armor Concepts EZ Armor"
Fantastic product. Very solid and easy to install. Besides peace of mind, it provides a superior barrier of protection between you and the bad guys. I highly recommend it and installed it on the front and back door.

"Good product, came with good instructions and easy to install"
The product arrived packaged well and with good installation instructions and ordered. Packaging was not damaged. While product itself was not hard to install, i found it a little challenging to install it to the upper frame of the double door. Door jambs were easy to install.
The upper jamb required some chiseling and polishing of the door but - again not the fault of the product. Overall, highly recommend this product.

The sidelight door entry armor fit perfectly and was easy to install. Nice high gloss finish made it look nice on our new door.

"Armor concepts feview"
I bought two door jamb reinforcing packages. Found them both to be as advertised with well written instructions. They installed easily in a couple of hours with common hand tools and drill. After painting they blended perfectly.

"Armor Your Entry Doors"
I first started with a competitor product & found it quite easy to install. Later, for three other doors I ordered from Armor Concepts. I found that even though Armor Concepts product was more difficult to install, it was by far more secure! I had to order some supplemental product from Armor Concepts to help reinforce the first door. I don't think you can go wrong using Armor Concepts products.
