An excellent, professional service from start to finish.

The initial consultation with Ian was very relaxed and informative, helping me decide on a combi boiler as the best solution. He provided a quote before he left.

An installation date was quickly arranged by Emily and Joseph in the office with Chris the designated engineer.

Chris did a fine, efficient job of fitting the boiler and removing the megaflow system from upstairs - all completed with a cheery smile over two days.

I would recommend the whole team unreservedly.

From the initial quotation from Joseph which he spent an hour going over with me to the fitting of the boiler by Chris, it all went well. Although not the cheapest quote the manner and experience of the installer was well worth it.

Recently we had a new gas boiler installed by the Utility Group. It was never going to be an easy installation as we had to upgrade from a one-pipe to a two-pipe system, with all the accompanying mess and disruption. However, from initial contact to finished installation our experience was positive.
The surveyor, Ian, was pleasant, knowledgeable and very patient, answering all our questions but not going for the "hard sell" - a definite plus. We received a quote the same day and had our job booked for the following week.
Our fitter, Chris, was a star - friendly, polite, keeping us informed as he went and also moving heavy furniture and boxes for us. He took pride in doing a good job and when the inevitable snags occurred solved the problem calmly and efficiently.
We also had regular contact with Joseph at head office to check we were happy with the installation.
Overall, customer service was excellent and we would certainly recommend this company.

Everything from the first consultation to the final signing off was very smooth.
The boiler developed a fault when tested and the engineer (Chris) was most upset but insisted that when Worcester Bosch had fitted the defective part he would come round straight away to sign off the boiler.

I originally had 3 company's quote for a replacement boiler with one of them not forwarding a quote so obviously didn't want my business, the other sent me a quote within 24hrs and the utility group also sent me a quote through within 24hrs. I decided to go with the utility group as their surveyor was very friendly and respectful, the company's MD was very knowledgable and accommodating along with a very competitive price. The installation service was very good and the engineer was friendly and cleaned up after himself.

I needed a new boiler and contacted 4 companies. I chose this one because it is a small company whose owner visits to carry out the survey. He presented his findings concisely and without the pressure of a hard sell. He emphasised how he was establishing the commitment of his workforce to be customer oriented and to enjoy working for his company. Having had the boiler recently installed I can vouchsafe that he is succeeding.
