I assigned my work to be checked by a professional proofreader, chose “Journal Article Editing and Proofreading Services,” and sent some critical comments that were required by my journal, which included eliminating “passive voice” and “we.” at first place

Customer services removed all the comments and guidance that I sent and set my work on a basic “proofreading” service.
Anyway, I have received my work with many passive voices, used “we” many times, issues with consistent, and had issues with Commas.

The proofreader did a great job in the correction of spelling and grammar.

Anyways, that was my experience with them; if you ask if I would refer them to friends or colleagues, I would say not really.
