"Etesia battery powered mowing machine"

Having been an Etesia fan for twenty two years I bought a brand new ‘professional’ Etesia battery powered pedestrian mowing machine in 2016 to replace my elderly Etesia petrol powered walk behind mowing machine.
The battery has now failed.
Etesia are unwilling and unable to supply a new battery and communication from the company has been pretty much non existent.
Etesia still show the same battery powered walk behind machine on their current website and brochure.
Etesia advertise that they guarantee spares back-up of major parts for ten years. In my opinion this is blatant misinformation. I regard a battery as a ‘major part’ of a battery powered mowing machine!
In light of having absolutely no parts back-up, I would strongly suggest potential purchasers of Etesia battery powered equipment look elsewhere, as I have.
My Stihl ‘professional’ battery powered walk behind mowing machine arrives very soon, in anticipation of this years growing season.
Conversely, Etesia combustion engine powered machines are fantastic and should not be mistaken with Etesia battery powered machinery.

"Good service and delivered when others couldn't."

I purchased a battery powered Husqvarna Hedge Trimmer that was out of stock from other official dealers. RT Machinery were a little dearer than some competitors and charged £10 for delivery (which was a bit disappointing given the item cost over £500), but they had the item in stock and delivered it quickly. It's a shame it wasn't possible to see stock or place an order online (it had to be completed over the phone) but they were nice to talk with and helpful. Very pleased with the item too.

"Poor service and follow up - updated 11/1/21"

I wanted a paddock sweeper for picking the poo up for my 5 horses who are on hard standing. I contacted RT Machinery and checked it would do the job and they said it would but would use brushed quicker than on grass, which seemed reasonable.

They delivered the sweeper and helped me set it up and we did a test run, the horse on the standing and nearby fields went crazy, the noise of the stones hitting the hopper was really loud, creating a dangerous situation. It became obvious this would not work. I talked the the representative and he said to "Give me a call and we can sort something out".

Long story short after multiple calls and chasing up nothing. I did speak to the representative but he never got back to me when he said he would, I always had to chase him up. On my last call I said I knew there would be a fee or charge if you take it back, just let me know one way tor another. He said he would speak to his boss, I have not heard anything back.

Product is great, but ability to return calls and provide a service is lacking at best.

Update - I was contacted by Richard after Christmas and it was arranged for the sweeper to be returned for a handling fee of 25% I accepted this and they picked it up and paid me very quickly.
