We wanted a very specific wine as a gift for a discerning family member, and discovered that it was a wine hard to source. But we found Hawkins Bros on line and they had the wine in stock so we ordered it and it came very quickly. The packaging was ingenious, protecting the bottle with a clever version of bubble wrap and that enabled us to disguise the gift when we sent it on to the recipient.
Well done, Hawkins Bros, the experience for us was excellent.

The website is laid out clearly and it is easy to navigate. The wines themselves are well illustrated and enough information is given on each one for a sensible choice to be made, but we are not bombarded with "hype". There are many more wines to choose from than we had anticipated.
Our chosen selection was delivered quickly and with good communications from both Hawkins and the carrier. So far we have only tried one of the wines, which proved excellent, so we cannot comment on the overall quality, but we have high hopes.
