Icelandic Mountain Guides gave us a really great excursion on the glacier arm. It was well-organized, professional but very fun and friendly, and seemed like an outfit that knew - and enjoyed - what they were doing. Our guide, Octavia, was absolutely brilliant. All-around great experience.

It was our last minute decision to join a glacier walk on solhemajokull. our guide (sorry i forgot your name, she's a Polish girl) was very informative. We discussed the receding of the glacier in the past 20-30 years and many information about eruptions and eruption expectations. We did the 10am tour which we first thought it's too early, and because the noon tour was full. Actually we're glad we did the morning tour. I would regret if I missed this experience. I didn't want to leave the ice ;P
