I could study while working. This is probably the best option I could find to bridge RN. Their instructors are all very experienced and my course was very good.

My experience with Achieve has been great. The only issues I have encountered are some of the instructors and how they present the content. Achieve does have great training tools which is helpful!

I am so happy with the customer service and support. Even though there were times I felt like giving up. The advisors and instructors make sure I logged in and perform the course work. If I missed a class someone would reach out to me to find out if I am ok.

"Not an Actual Program"

First issue. They are not a school or a continuing education center. Check their accreditation. They offer you study materials so you can CLEP out of courses for college. It is also not faster. A community college is cheaper and has quick summer classes. I was lied to on the phone and told they did in fact have a program. This is a lie. One also does not have to continue making payments. You can stop payments and dispute.

I am an LPN who wanted to bridge to an RN. I wish I had never heard of Achieve and bought into their sales pitch indicating that they cared about my aspirations. I find myself in a situation where due to my husband's health issues I have not been able to continue. I have not even been able to finish my first class or take the test. I have taken on all the family burden, financial and otherwise. I cannot handle anything else right now, my time and our finances are at their limit due to something so unforeseen from when I first reached out to Achieve. When Achieve could not withdraw payment due to the credit card they access being maxed out they called me. I explained the situation. Their rep stated he understood, ad nauseam, but kept pushing for payment. He stated if I didn't pay they "would have" to report me to a collections agency, and I didn't want that now did I?
The phone call became harassing, multiple calls every day, texts, emails. I responded to one of the texts as well as the email but they have not responded back. I have to guess that maybe they do they not want a "paper trail" of our conversations.
Finally I have filed a complaint with the BBB, it's in process.
My advice to you, consider why their ratings are low - subpar pretty much where ever you look. They are a business, I respect that but be aware that this is not a warm and friendly group of individuals that cares about who you are or what your aspirations are.
I wish I had never heard of Achieve and taken that step with them, I have learned my lesson and will tell anyone who asks about my experience and let them make their own decisions. But if I don't put this out there, then I am going against my nursing grain of caring about others and their outcomes.

"Scam company"

Scam company. Read fine print. You will pay close to 20% interest. If you try to withdraw you will owe money due to the interest rate and the % they make you pay per # of classes taken. They count accessing student portal as a class. Wasn’t able to continue with school due to COVID and being a paramedic and working crazy hours. They didn’t care. Had already paid 5 thousand dollars and had only taken 1 class. I still have to pay 3,000 to them. No negotiations. Threaten to send to collections.

"DO NOT"

Do NOT ! I repeat do NOT choose achieve Test Prep! This place is highway robbery! I paid close to $9000 for absolutely nothing! And at first it was only supposed to be $4500. I was going to use them to bridge my LPN to RN and then Eventually BSN. And it seemed like a dream was coming true at first. Not only is it so hard to keep up and confusing to navigate but I had to take a break due to my grandfather passing away and he was like my father So instead of helping me, knowing that they could stop payments until I came back which I found out later, I failed one of my classes and after paying all that money upfront my fiancé had to continue making payments For classes that I did not even take and only registered for. In a normal school if you pull out before registration you do not owe anything. They were paid upfront for a couple classes I had not even had the chance to take and then charged me for classes I did not take and classes I had “chosen” to take the next semester with no explanation that I did not even register for, I had only chosen because I had not made my mind up. After you sign the contract if you do not withdrawal completely in three days you owe all the money. They did not explain this, I cannot express enough to read the contract fine print, better yet don’t do it! I made a mistake knowing better but I believe in what I was being told. Stay away. They would come up with a reason for nonsense charges. Every time I called them to find out what was going on they had an excuse and then they would make you feel better about it and act like they would work with you although nothing ever changed. And that if I could get a hold of somebody and even if I did get reach someone finally on the phone they would keep switching me back-and-forth. They have no coordination in office. The only one good thing I have to say is I was able to finally talk to a man there and he was very helpful in helping me withdraw and stop payments in time for me to save due to the situation that I could not control due a death. Not only was it emotionally draining, I do not even have the words to explain the stress that I went through in dealing with these people and their “suppose” to be education and student first business! They took advantage of me. I paid way more than what I signed on the contract. It was an act of Congress to withdraw once you get in and they would not leave me alone about continuing my education with them after knowing everything that they had already put me through and when you do decide to withdraw they make you go through hoops, I had to attend several phone meetings with four different individuals instead of a regular school where you can just walk right in or just call and tell them you want to withdraw and get your paperwork. This was a major headache for me in my life and I spent thousands of dollars for nothing literally ! It would have ruined my credit. Yes, they have “some”success stories but you better be ready to bust your rear end and get ready for some nonsense. I was ready and had some friends who work in the legal field to double check for me and they are not accredited everywhere. Make sure you read the fine print on any of their paperwork before you agree with anything is all I can say! Pull them up on the Better Business Bureau BBB and check out the reviews! That’s all you need to do. I have saved every bit of paperwork from them just in case someone needs proof of expenses so that nobody makes same mistake I did.

"Beware of Achieve Test Prep"

Achieve contacted me and presented itself as an institution that would help me get into an RN program. They explained to me that everything (including the college program) would be covered in the fees. They did not explain to me that the business was strictly a consulting firm and had no affiliation with fees associated with any colleges. As I was trying to hang up, the consultant was aggressively asking me to put forth a large amount of money. I paid $500. The consultant did not give me a chance to rethink or reconsider my options. As I researched the company, I learned that I was not going to be paying anything towards the college but instead to this consulting firm. I immediately contacted them after only taking 3 classes total in my one course. I withdrew and was told that I would be charged over 2800$ without any written explanation. I did not take 9 courses. I only took half of one that they offered. I feel like I was taken advantage of. The representative that assisted me with the process of termination was rude and condescending and she kept trying to sell me other parts of the program. I was very specific with her and told her that I do not want to disclose my future plans with her but she told me that I had to and told me that I had to give her the name of the college that I was attending so that she could research it. She said that if I did not give her that information that it could impede with my termination process. I felt humiliated and blindsided. I honestly feel like they stole my money. When I told the representative that I was going to leave a review, she told me that I shouldn't do that because they would review it and go after me with legal fees. It just goes to show the kind of business that they run. In the 3 (3 hour long) classes that I sat through, we were not allowed to use our book or look at the slides. We were only allowed to listen to our instructor and it became a competition to see who could answer the questions the fastest in class or be called out publicly. For those reasons, this is by far one of the largest academic regrets that I have ever made, choosing to go with their consulting company.
