Insurance plans are most suitable and flexible for visitors to US. Customer service is very good. I could switch over from another insurance provider to INF seamlessly. Policy extension can be done online just on day basis. This is so welcoming for visitors like me when we are extending our stay for personal reasons.

Intuitive and easy to use website. By entering all the details (e.g. sum assured, ages of insured, type of policy needed), I was able to quickly get and compare quotes. I was also able to follow up on these quotes and any other clarifications with customer service via phone. The information was transparently available and the pricing was competitive with other US based insurance companies. I also liked the United HealthCare PPO option that is offered on all INF policies.

I’ve been buying insurance from inf for past many years for my parents and in laws. I come to inf because of the following reasons:
1. Wide choice of plans. I got the really expensive inf elite plans that included pre existing condition and Covid care during the peak of the pandemic. I’m generally doing the more affordable bmi plans lately.
2. Good customer service. You can call up and talk to knowledgeable folks who give sound and honest advice. The best answers come for questions like, hey can you give some examples where this insurance plan denied claims for your clients recently and I got genuine examples. It helped he understand the tradeoffs that come with lower priced plans and you make an informed decision. Prakash in particular is knowledgeable and helpful.
3. The good service also extends to billing and renewals. I had some typo mistakes in policies and the staff was supportive to get them corrected. They are also helpful with renewals (I buy 3 months initially and extend for another 3 for my parents and in laws who typically visit 6 months)

I don’t have comments on the claims as I’ve never had any serious medical situations so far. My dad in law had cough last time and the bmi plan helped get me a tele consultation and medication to get it resolved. The doctor said he would suggest a Covid test, but the bmi admins never approved one so we couldn’t get tested. (These were days when home kits weren’t a thing yet)

Overall, a good place to buy insurance for visitors.
