"Where’s my review…"

I recently stayed at a Solaga property for 1 week. They were responsive and polite (but not entirely helpful). We had an issue with the outdoor area which was never resolved. I provided a mixed review of the property that doesn’t appear to have been published. I suspect only positive reviews make it through!

"Used to be Very Good; now just Average."

I’ve used Solaga several times and they’ve been mostly good. Unfortunately, possibly driven by losses during the pandemic, they’ve taken their eye off the ball. The photographs on some of their apartments do not reflect the true position having been taken years ago. When this was pointed out in a Review for their website I was asked to do, they refused to print it - albeit the Review was good for them in other comments! They did, later, change the photographs of that particular apartment to show its true furnishings. Our last visit was - to say the best - ‘Average’. I marked it as such except for the location which I said was ‘Good’. They marked the whole Review as ‘Good’.
I simply would not trust their Reviews - or their photographs of apartments. Although, probably, most apartments are OK, be prepared for some surprises on some stays!
